Human Beings versus Human Doings
This meditation encouraged me to allow my thoughts to just be, and reminded me not to continuously label them but rather, to notice them and let go. It also helped me recall that I am a human BEING, not a human DOING. Sometimes, we need to realize that we are going at too fast of a pace. We aren't being mindful at all. By taking, "I am a human being, and not a human doing" to heart, we learn to just sit with our thoughts, which ultimately slows them down.

Thank you I learned that it's OK not to have to be doing or thinking ALL THE TIME 🎉 I'm a homemaker and always feel guilty when I'm not busy serving or cleaning or gardening or Or or or ... just finished managing a years renovation project from beginning to end . Materials ... workers... you name it... I've so earned my being time over the last 30 years of being a wife and mother and employee... yet I still feel guilty when I'm tired and when I take me time🤦🏼‍♀️... hard for me but I'm getting there Day by day. Thank you 😘🙌🏻🙌🏻👌🏻

I discovered that I need to give myself permission to "BE." The way I schedule events or "check off my to-do list," it is vital to have regular, daily "being time."

The more I meditate the more I see the bigger picture in life and I’m finding I’m much more grateful for my being. I put a lot of pressure on myself to even go out of the house and do daily chores but as soon as these pressures are released from myself I actually do a lot more. I’m glad I’m becoming more self aware 🤗❤️

This is an excellent reminder for me Since I’m someone that is performance/acceptance driven. I can easily look at myself and accept myself only when I’m doing something or being productive. Just “being” is a non at stressful practice and strategy that I’d like to incorporate into my daily routine.

I’m reminded that I must take a step back and realize the importance of being from doing something constantly or trying to achieve something. All this is to please myself or trying to prove something to others but what is the purpose of this if my being isn’t at peace. Lately I’m finding myself to seek God’s wisdom more as I am up against some hardships and I find the sense of healing and comfort through the Words of God.

Human Be-ing
I was reminded that as a human, I often feel I have many roles to fill to be accepted by others. But when I can truly accept myself for who I am (regardless of what others think) I can just ‘be’. Thus, I am truly living up to my name as a human be-ing. I loved the balloon analogy! It helped me to release (negative) thoughts and feelings (of having to do) and shift my attention to Being an observer & start to observe myself in the situation without judgement. Very relaxing and empowering at the same time!

It’s always gonna be hard to stop thinking about something that just worries you constantly. But just being, and sitting, or lying down without thinking or doing anything, I learned is the best way to let go of your worry’s. Just imagine it’s a helium balloon that you’re waving goodbye to. It may not be gone forever, but it will feel so good to let go of. And it did.

I love the analogy of filling all my worries up in the helium balloons and watching them float away. I felt like for a moment I did reach a state of just being. It was freeing. I felt so much falling off of my shoulders. But I slowly fell back into thinking about each little thing that stresses me throughout the day and I had a lot of helium balloons flying away...

I’m so proud...
Of myself! New TV, DVD player, cable box. Set-up a piece of cake per salesman (liar). Six hours trying to get the “no signal” to go away to no avail. Missed Red Wing hockey game. I let my hubby try to do set-up with a little input from me. I just sat there, read some stuff, practiced my breathing multiple times and found that detaching myself was quite easy. See, I am learning something! Now I’m ready for a good nights sleep. ❤️💤💤💤

Shift your mind from doing to being. Let go of any worries by releasing them from your thoughts like helium balloons into the sky. Repeat one by one until you are no longer thinking about all the things you need to do, and can just be. Be in the moment. Be with your breath. Be with your body. Simply be.

I am now aware of what it feels like to just be; to let go of all of the worries and stresses that are a part of my daily life and simply enjoy my own presence. It’s hard to remember that stresses will go away, but they will and we can actually momentarily make them subside ourselves.

I am trying to take flight and let go my turn about came from one of my children putting her sorrow over the passing of her father and I became the catcher and stopped in my tracks of a good place and could not let go. With this exercise and back to breathing practice I now have loosed I will let go of all of the balloons

I am constantly beating myself up for all the things I’ve got to get it done and worse yet ruminating over all the things I didn’t get done. This reminds me that I should not do that and I will think of this the next time I do.

Great reminder to focus on “being” and not “doing”
I was amazed at how spot on this was in the first 30 seconds. Have marked this as a favorite and need to listen to it weekly, if not daily. Another reminder to focus more on enjoying the present instead of on everything on my to do list.

This is a great reminder that although “helium balloons”, or stress, can seem light at the start, but more and more of those helium balloons add up, and sometimes if you don’t let them go, they can end up weighing a lot.

Today I’ve been really stressed out because my roommate who happens to be my stepsister hasn’t been doing anything that I have asked her to do. I told her repeatedly to put her laundry away so I can use the hamper (we share it) and she hasn’t it’s not my responsibility to tell her to cleanup after herself and I don’t care what she does and doesn’t do outside of our shared room. I want my room to be and stay clean. If I have to I will make her use her own hamper so that her laziness doesn’t effects my cleanliness. Those will be her balloons.
