Symphony of Sounds
In any given moment, there is a symphony of sounds occurring. In this meditation, Cassandra has us focus on sounds in our surroundings as a doorway to the present moment. Sitting in my chair, I closed the blinds on my sense of sight and focused on my ears. Becoming aware of any and all sounds in my surroundings, I was brought out of my thinking mind and into the present moment. Trying my best to not label these sounds as good or bad, pleasant or not pleasant, I let them be as they were. Hearing this symphony of sounds, I became grateful for my ears. These ears allow me to be guided into meditation on this app. These ears allow me to give kind attention to a person by listening to their needs. These ears allow me to feel an array of emotions by listening to music. And, these ears allow me to walk through the doorway to the present moment. It is such a delight to hear a symphony of sounds in any given moment! Namaste ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿปโค๏ธโ˜ฎ๏ธ

Sense of Hearing Sounds
What a wonderful way to practice being present. I noticed things that had been there all along but was too busy to hear

Sounds
This was particularly interesting to me, since some years ago tinnitus became a part of my life. Every day I am thankful for my ability to generally ignore the high pitched 24/7 sound, but Cass helped me to remember to actively appreciate the various sounds I do get to hear.
