It is so easy to get caught up in a self-fulfilling prophecy that can have a lasting impact on our lives. It's incredibly valuable to learn about them, start to identify your own, and then start to step outside of them. This is an introduction to self-fulfilling prophecies.

I think I’m unlovable. I think I don’t deserve the good guy.

Self-fulfilling prophecy’s
I learned the power of self fulfilling prophecy through this meditation. It was very interesting lear they can infect everyone regardless of the length of the success. I found it fascinating but even the highly successful hockey player, mentioned Bible life coach suffered from it’s self for filling prophecy. I was also retreats to find out how wide ranging they are.

Self fulfilling prophecy
I do this with often. It is something that I really want to work on in my future. My son does does this as well, I hope that by changing the way way my mind thinks I can help him change as well.

Self Fulfilling Prophecy
I learned a new definition for my actions. For years I called it self-sabotage. As I listened, immediately I was able to identify and recognize my. I want to change.

Identifying core beliefs
Woke up this morning feeling pretty down and lonely. The loneliness I feel partially comes from my core belief that nobody likes me because they think I’m dumb or unworthy. Like the client in this lesson I too have struggles with severe dyslexia my whole life and only recently realized it. Can relate to the hockey player too in having limiting beliefs and experiences in playing team sports. Always kind of felt like “the odd man out.” Has been hard to make friends, at least post high school. My feelings of unworthiness caused much of that. I do believe it’s possible to overcome though and learn new ways of thinking and behaving through practice and lots of effort. Depression makes this difficult but that can be overcome too

I am my own worst enemy
Wow, this may be my number one issue. I’ve believed that I’m terrible at my job for 30 years, ignoring the good abs focusing on the bad. I’ve won awards and refused to accept them because I was an imposter. I believe I’m stupid, unworthy… it’s a long list.

Self fulfilling prophecy
I learned that instead of telling myself that I am not good at something just because I did not meet my own expectations will only cause me to not meet them the next time. I need to speak positively to myself and encourage myself to accept what has already happened and focus on being okay with the outcome and note what I would like to change. Repeat affirmations that I am good enough.

Eye opener
I’ve been telling myself that I’m a constant failure and pushing myself to be better with this negative thought. Now that I’m striving to be a better person I’m struggling to genuinely help others. This negative though about myself is a dead weight keeping me from positively helping myself and others. It’s like having greasy hands and attempting to do anything cleanly. 🤦‍♂️

I can relate
I have negative thoughts and feelings about myself that are not necessarily true or helpful

Self fhought
I learned that mental health and keeping up with work on yourself is very important. Also that code beliefs may most of the time not only not be true, but will cause you to attach that core belief to new things you encounter changing the way you think about yourself
