Caring for ourselves in the same way that we care for others is not an easy feat. So often we can put our time, energy, love, and forgiveness into our families and friends, but we struggle to take just 5 minutes a day to meditate or treat ourselves to a nice bath. These days, retreats are places we can go to give ourselves time to pause, reflect, heal, recover & decompress. Although incredibly beneficial, it is not always possible for everyone to attend these kinds of retreats. However, it is possible to retreat within. To find small moments to care for yourself, to give yourself some TLC, paying attention to how you are feeling. Listening to what your body & mind need. You deserve self-care, enjoy getting used to caring for yourself too.
