There are five Yamas in ‘The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali.’ In today’s episode, we dive into the second Yama ~ Satya. Satya is a Sanskrit word that is translated as truth. It also refers to a virtue in Indian religions, referring to being truthful in one's thoughts, speech, and actions. You practice Satya by observing reality without judgment. This moral discipline is also the path to freedom from all self-induced suffering. Please enjoy all five yamas in this series. They are for you to evolve in your spiritual and personal development here and now. Sending you great love... xo 'dorothy'
