Sacred Pauses
I felt tension and release throughout my body with these sacred pauses...sometimes surprised at where that tension was being held and reminding me of the nourishing aspects of my meditation practice.

Day 3
My mind may be wandering off all the time, but it’s definitely a lot easier to bring my attention back to myself and keep myself calm with just a little bit of help.

Pauses in the breath
These are sacred moments to ground my breaths and focus on only that, the breathing. Just for a few moments it helps my anxiety pause so I️ can recharge.

Between breaths
There is a difference between a pause on the in breath and a pause on the out breath. Pausing on the in breath doesn’t come as naturally to me, but I would’ve guessed the opposite-that I️ would me more comfortable with the breath I️ need to live on the inside. There’s a metaphor in there somewhere for life. Namaste

Pauses
This was the first time I concentrated on the pauses between breaths and found it to be very effective. It was a good meditation.

Paying Attention
I learned that it’s important to pay attention to your breath, because you can always come back to it to calm down and relieve stress and anxiety.

Pause
I am finding the key to my serenity is in the pauses of life. It isn’t the accomplishments or failures that really matter but the pauses between events. That will keep my life calm, peaceful and serene. God bless all who have found this peace and especially those who are still suffering.

Natural Pauses
Come at the end of each breath in... And out These pauses are nice. These pauses are comfortable. These pauses are quite refreshing now that I know that I can focus on them and appreciate them. Who would'a thunk it?

I learned that...
I can kinda control my Anxiety a bit by just taking deep Breaths in and Deep breaths out.

Liberation
Taking time for yourself allows me to hear me, my deep feelings and my scares, and I just want to cry to wash my soul. And keep breathing.

Pauses
I learned that pauses inserted in the chest breath can add information and make meditation harder for beginners. I liked the further concentration needed to breathe with the pauses.

Pausing
Pausing I learned, actually makes the relaxation deeper and more meaningful.

The feeling of pauses
The pause between the inhale and exhale feels like a crest or peak, and the pause between the exhale and inhale again feel more strained or tense, like a pulling back.

A loss of urgency
Realizing that your body pauses between the inhale and exhale immediately made the urgency of my day fall away. If breathing and thereby survival isn’t urgent, then anything else by comparison isn’t either.

I learned that
It’s okay to take pauses. If you can take pauses between breaths, which are necessary for staying alive, you can and should take pauses between doing other things that cause you anxiety.

Why
I need to slow down and figure out why I am feeling anxious. Insomnia is wearing me down yet I haven't been able too determine exactly what is the cause of the feeling. I need to break this cycle.

Pause
Pauses in between breaths can make it more relaxing before bed or in the car or when pressure is put on you.

Breathe
Let your mind rest and focus on breathing. This will take practice and time. When I’m feeling stressed I need to take 3 min to reflect on my breathing and being more present.

Pauses
Just like the pause between inhales and exhales I need to pause and be mindful during my day.

The simplest way to calm an anxious mind or body is to breathe. I don’t have to do anything fancy besides focus on myself as I’m breathing in and out. I’ve started to adopt this into my daily life when things get hectic, or emotional. A few seconds to close my eyes and take a deep breath have helped significantly.

I learned that it’s important to focus on the pauses, both in breathing and in life, as they are often under appreciated but can provide great relief.

Breathing
I really enjoy breathing out compared to breathing in. As I breath out I feel the sense of weight being thrown out. My mind still wanders during the breathing exercises but I know I’ll get better at focusing on my breathing with more practice

The Reason Behind Every Breath
Every pause between a breath is a door letting out tension. Every outward breath is blowing it away and every inward is realizing it’s there🌬

The pauses between breaths
I need to work on this moment. Focusing on breathing I can do, but focusing on the moment between breaths is hard for me to do. I need to find the space between, and be comfortable there.

Focusing on my breathing was important today, but also difficult. I have a stressor today and that is military stuff and I couldn’t quite get my mind together. Hopefully I can come back to it later or use the techniques learned and focus better. Thank you, Aura. Have a nice day, Everyone!😀

Relaxing
Relaxing is so important, we go so fast and try to do so much. A few moments to slow down, can feel so good.

Pauses
I learned that it’s important to focus on the pauses. Days can seem like they’re being pushed together because they are so busy. So it’s important to cherish the pauses. The moment when you wake up in the morning, the passing period between classes, or the drive home from work. Take in these pauses so you can reflect and breathe.

Angrer
Whenever anger and anxiety pops up, pause, go to a peaceful spot “if you can” and breath in and out “meditation is the answer”.

Sacred Pauses
Ray Charles was asked what he attributed his masterful interpretations to. “Well, I take my time, you see? I don’t rush the notes. The thing that really matters is the space between them. There’s a little gap in there, you see? I just slip in there, nice and easy. Think of a good actor out on the stage all alone. What separates him from all the rest? It is his ability to get inside between the words. Once he’s in there, there’s no rushing. He’s not worried about messing up. He doesn’t care if the audience gets it or not because he has become one with his work. It’s the same thing with music. Heck, it’s the same thing with anything in life you really want to be good at.“

A calming little practice
Nice for my anxious evening. I'm feeling very scattered and sad today. I know it's related to money again. I know that waiting to hear about my Social Security Disability adjudication is just going to kill me. There's just never enough money to keep the family afloat. As a provider who can no longer provide, its terribly depressing to me. The stress of it is nigh unto impossible for me to cope with. I did hear from my previous therapist last evening, and thankfully I'll be able to begin seeing her again soon. Maybe having her to unload on again will help me...but who knows? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
