I have trouble enjoying life- it’s something to be endured, something i am resigned to. Cognitively i know that it could be sooo much worse, but i cant seem to get to a happy or grateful place. Well at least not for more than a second or two.

We don’t have to carry all of our emotions around at once by doing this meditation I feel a weight off my shoulders and things I have been worrying about that aren’t in my control are left within the earth to be recycled into something else. Lovely meditation ❤️

Feelings sinking
Letting your feelings sink into the earth is helpful for panic attacks. It teaches me that they can stay sunk there, and if I get a feeling of panic, i can remember where I need to put it (back into the earth).

During this meditation, I️ learned that stress can be a tangible object we can see in our minds eye, using that image to put that stress in a place, such as the earth and allow the earth to transform our stress into something beautiful. My stress was the color yellow, and it was like a sludge of oil paint or acrylic paint on a palate. The paint dropped as an entire blob to the earth and spread out over the green grass beneath a large tree. As I️ looked up into the tree to see the sun shining through the leaves, I️ noticed yellow butterflies had been transformed from the blob of yellow stress. Beautiful...

I believe that my higher power, or Earth’s energy, is indeed able to take on your negative. At least for a few, it calms you. Observing clouds of dark and light flowing out of my body and collecting & slowly swirling in front of me left me feeling free & clean...but empty. Then the darker clouds of negativity sank to the earth and were absorbed and gone. Feeling empty and noticing the lighter clouds beckoning me with a longing “look”( like a puppy dog wanting to be petted) I invited them in and they gladly rushed into me making me feel like a giant superhero!! I hope to recreate this when needed!! Fun & effective!

Letting go of my stress and allowing it to sink into the earth. I had to remind my body to relax several times but, in the end peaceful relaxation.

I like the idea that the earth can take my stress and transform it into something more and that by sinking into the earth perhaps I can take back that transformed energy in a positive way. My stress felt gritty, like dry, chunky, rocky, sand that’s full of small pebbles. However, it came back smooth and clean like pure beach sand hammered by the waves into something soft and comfortable to walk on.

Mindfulness and stress release
I found doing this after a 20 minute or so mindfulness meditation to be very relaxing. After spending time paying attention to my thoughts, switching to this meditation allowed me to better address and focus on my emotions and thoughts causing anxiety. Attaching colora as guided to my feelings and passing them into the earth was very successful and I could feel the stress passing out of me.

I am very visual and get distracted very easily, so I really like the meditations where I visualize things. I especially like visualizing things that we don’t usually have a visual image for, like anxiety. I pictured my anxiety as lightning bolts, which made a lot of sense. Personally I like longer meditations, my mind tends to resist and give in eventually when it comes to meditation. I find those to be very beneficial, but short ones are good too, out of either convenience or at least to keep things consistent to get more into mediation

This meditation helped me understand why we all sometimes feel caged in anxiety/sadness/regret/embarrassment etc... As I took more and more inhales and exhaled slowly I could feel the layers of feelings and imagery leave my skin into the earth. The more layers you unleash from your skin and body the more your true you could stand out and live life as you really want and should.

I did mine a little different I sat in a comfortable position and for some reason I pictured my stress being pushed out of my body from my head down to my toes with each breath. I even talked out loud to God and asked him to take my stress...when the lady on the meditation said to release it to the earth I imagined a magenta color being pushed from my head down through my body out from under my feet and I imagined all of it going away and I talked out loud to God with my eyes closed.

I leaned last night that I’m falling further and further down the rabbit hole. Last night after more hard news and an argument I walked out of the house to get some air and walked up to the overpass that oversees the highway by my house and was going to jump off. Mantra: I am letting go of anything I cannot control today. Yesterday, I had a stressful situation appear that is still weighing heavy on me. When I told my husband about the situation, his response was you are choosing to let this situation have control over you. He is right. As I focus on my breathing along with the situation that is causing me stress, on every exhale I silently repeat my mantra while visualizing releasing my stress to the earth. Within a few breath cycles, I start to feel at ease. The weight I am carrying around is getting lighter. By the end of this session, I am feeling grounded.

I learned that for me, my stress is a black cloud, and is not necessarily negative, there’s just too much of it in my body. I felt lighter after releasing it into the earth, and imagined it breaking up and shooting tendrils underground to prompt seeds to germinate and grow. A small amount of stress is helpful! Too much is overwhelming. I feel much lighter and able to focus.
