Most people carry tension in their faces, often unknowingly. Bring awareness to all of the intricate muscles in your face and practice letting go of unnecessary tension and stress.

Releasing
It was a first for my face! I could feel a fuzzy sensation, starting at my forehead and moving down my face in tiny increments, as I focused on each part. Very relaxing to release tension I wasn't aware was there. ❤️

Softening the Face
I typically don’t care much for meditations that involve the body, but decided to try this one. It was quite peaceful, though I wasn’t sure I was really able to relax certain parts of my face. I probably need practice!

I felt this was a very good session for me. I really look forward to it again
Facial tension is a problem for me. Especially the brow and jaw area. I used to have a lot of trouble clenching my teeth and tension headaches. I really look forward to this session again.

Relaxing facial
My friends go to facial but I read somewhere that your face is a representation of the stress you put your mind thru. For me that's particularly true. I started grinding and clenching my jaw since I took up this stressful position at work. I started seeing more lines on my face. This is a good meditation to relax my facial tension. Combine with the focus and be present meditation sessions, I'm sure I'm heading on the right path. Sometimes we just need to say we've tried our best and give ourselves a pat on the back.

The face
I liked this meditation because I had a lot of tension in my face that I wasn’t aware of until beginning. I’ve been told that I look angry or sad when I’m not feeling either. I need to become more mindful of tension in my facial muscles and my expressions that are showing my feelings to the world.

Facial tention
Facial tension is a result of inner feelings that are not let go and are expressed through facial expressions. When i let those go, I felt more at ease about the situation.

Facial Tension Awarness
I often notice facial tension when I’m brushing or styling my hair, or even when I play viola. There are classes I took in undergrad about body awareness and relaxing the face and jaw was an integral part of that.

I didn’t even know I had facial tension until I tried this meditation. Immediately I noticed the tension, and released it upon meditation. I feel calmer and more relaxed, and my stomach that was initially a little agitated has soothed as well.

Releasing Facial Tension
I really liked this meditation and found that it helped to release some of my anxiety. By focusing on the points of your face where you have the most tension, you can easily release this tension by focusing on it. Though it may sound strange, by relaxing the spots of your face where there is the most tension, whether it be your forehead, cheeks, or even behind your eyes, you can soften these spots to release anxiety. Relaxing these spots will allow the released tension and relaxation to trickle down your insides, like water droplets trickling down a glass. When these facial muscles are relaxed, you may feel a wave of relaxation go through your whole body as I did when doing this meditation. Ultimately, by the end of this session, you should (hopefully) feel relaxed throughout your whole body, as if clouds have just recently cleared to display a rainbow behind them. 🌈🤩😘

Hidden tension
Usually when relaxing into meditation I quickly pass over the face to focus on the big muscles holding obvious tension in my shoulders and back. Focusing in on the minutiae of the face showed me there is more tension held here than I realized.

Tension
I carry a lot of tension near and in my face at all times. I’ve started noticing it in little wrinkles that don’t bother me yet, but I know they will get deeper with little care or attention. I wonder if I carry so much of this tension because I spend a lot of time thinking, overthinking, worrying, judging, etc. This facial release made my mind feel a bit more calm, not only because I released my muscles but also because it gave me a task to focus my energy.

Tension
I constantly carry tension. I’ll catch my shoulders being way up throughout the day, I’ll clench my hands and back, but lately I’ve been clenching my jaw. It’s been giving me huge headaches, so I’ll catch myself being irritable due to the combination of anxiety and physical pain from tension. This was a good reminder to relax the muscles.

I’ve never realized how much my face carries tension
I learned that it is hard for me to release the tension in my face...really hard. I guess it’s really true that no matter how hard I try to cover up my feelings, they will still show in my face in one way or another. I am such a work in progress but I can do this.

Clenching
Ive noticed that the most stressed I get the more I clench my jaw together which has and is causing me more problems then I realized at my last check up! I'm starting to be fully aware of Throughout my day now and when I feel myself clenching I remind myself to stop pause and BREATH deeply... It will be OK!! Repeating a few times 😁 I think we all get too caught up in our daily lives now a days it's all a hussle and bussle to get to the next stop and item on our list. No time for talking just tell Siri or Alexa to do it bc we don't have time. But THAT'S JUST IT! WE'VE got to Make time, especially for ourselves otherwise kids are going to learn the wrong way and the expectations are going to be ridiculous!! So let's not all look mad or constipated Let's relax our faces learn to smile at each other Again in the streets and have a Wonderful Day today! 😁

This could possibly be a good meditation. Easy to remember o
to remember. Big But...I can’t get out of my mind the horrible story about death. Why in the world does anyone out there think this could help anxiety. I’m afraid that session will color my thoughts forever. This meditation app has done so much for me and now it has been stolen. While I’m at it, please don’t tell me to turn to Jesus. Releasing Facial Tension
I learned by taking slow deep breaths and exhaling slow and gentle breaths help me release the tension in my face. The facial muscles relaxed in my forehead, eyebrows and jaws widening my eyes and softened my lips showing a genuine smile. I also notice the feeling in my facial expression without being aware of the tension and I would release it by acknowledging it presence a Thank You with slow deep breathing and releasing it gently

The fastest I’ve relaxed in awhile.
I learned that by focusing gentleness on a small area, you can allow it to wash through the rest of you at once once you’re suitably receptive. Within 30 seconds of this session my heart rate slowed from its usual anxious frenzy, and after 3 minutes my entire body felt entirely at peace. My face felt so soft; interestingly I pictured it glowingly blank in my mind, in an alien but comforting way. I feel like by doing this more frequently I could erase some premature wrinkles, haha.

Releasing
We often can hold tension in our faces, unknowingly. This meditation brings awareness to our faces as we release any unnecessary tension. Beginning at my forehead and scanning down to my chin, tingling sensations arose as I released tension in my facial muscles. What a wonderful feeling! I will remember to do this from time to time throughout my day. Thank you for this relaxing start to my day! Namaste 🙏🏻❤️😊

Great meditation
So often in meditation and just in the midst of my day, I concentrate on relaxing my body while giving little attention to my face. This is a great reminder that we hold tension there as well. And, come to think of it, isn’t that the source of the message we send to others as well? Peace to all.

Facial awareness
Pause and observe your face, just be there and feel the sensations you are naturally feeling in the automatic pilot. Am holding any tension? What is there that I am feeling? Now just appreciate that part that we normally do not focus our attention on, nourish that small part letting it know how important it is to have them as a part of your universe, now just let it go of all tensions, all holdings, everything that does not belong to your natural, everything that does not serve you anymore, let it go of all excess and anything kept in storage in your face.
