I learned that the parasympathetic nervous system is the part of the nervous system which allows the body to relax. I learned how to activate this system at any point by directing my focus toward relaxing my muscles and breathing deeply. This practice Will release tension from my body , causing my mind to relax. Namaste free your body ,And your mind will follow.
I woke up early and couldn’t go back to sleep. I listed to this meditation and was relaxing and went back to sleep.
I noticed I’m holding a lot of tension in my upper body while doing this meditation. Helped me transition to bedtime/sleep mode.

Fibromyalgia and neuropathy
It gets so bad at night that I can’t sleep due to the pain! I have had a lot of health issues that have caused this to affect my nervous system from cancer, radiation and chemo to a liver transplant including several surgeries between. I really hate that this pain has over taken the healing process God has blessed me with to survive! I have developed insomnia along with the pain! I was hoping this app would give me some relief so I can sleep without having to medicate myself! I am so tired and my family doesn’t understand the type of pain I am in! They think I can just exercise it out! I didn’t mention I have osteoporosis due to my anti rejection medication and I am bone on bone on my knees which I need knee replacements. I also have screws in one knee and plates and screws in my right ankle and right wrist from falls! I don’t want this to sound like a sob story I am just trying to find someway to cope with the pain! Please gear me towards whatever this app can do for me! 🙏

I learned that I was less worried about the pauses. I began to have moments when my mind went to concerns but I then let them pass
I can’t focus even for a 3 minute meditation or breathing exercise. I’m already thinking of what needs to be done as soon as that time passes 🙃
It was hard to even focus for just a few minutes. I got frustrated with myself because it was so hard to just relax and let the tension go.
