While I'm still unsure of what to do with my attention when I'm not focusing on either the in or out breath, this in for energizing and out for relaxing concept is quite a revelation for me. I hope I'm able to call this back to mind when I need it, but I know the only way to really do that is practice.

It's so difficult to shut the mind off. I started meditating every other day and then ever two days due to being "so busy" and before I knew it, I was more disconnected from my practice and unbalanced in life. Today I learned how to balance myself using my breath. Who knew that paying more attention to the in breath was energizing and more attention to the out breath was relaxing. It really worked I tried both and by the end I felt balanced. Thank you Lyndi!

Today I learned that while meditating it is important to be in touch with your body and how it is feeling when you are listening to your breathing. I enjoy laying down when meditating and that can lead me to feeling drowsy or drifting off, and so learning about the intake breath and how important it is to help you stay alert was really interesting to me.

At times I feel I am on a tight rope, barely balancing, about to fall at any moment. Other times helping hands are there to support and help me up. Whatever scenario there is still that support, whether the air as you fall or the ground to cradle you. It’s how you see the support and use it to stay balanced or picking yourself up afterwards. Support comes in many forms and sometimes it is the perspective of time that makes you realise that when you thought you were alone you really weren’t.

There’s nothing like a good breathing meditation to clear the mind and relax the body. Breathing in the energy and breathing out anything that I don’t need. This one's a keeper for me. The meditation itself: I like being told that I can be comfortable- sitting down or laying however I feel. I like being told I can close my eyes and relax or...not. I like this speakers voice but I also like that she leaves moments of silence to let me just be. I did not feel that these were 'pauses' in her thoughts or sentences. I felt a true moment of silence. A completion of thoughts if that makes any sense. 🧘‍♀️Also, I had previously never given much thought to the idea of being able to be in a state of "relaxed-alertness". I only know "high-alert".

Breath is the key. Feeling "too" of anything - be it much or little - can be balanced by our breathing. Isn't it intriguing that focus on phases of breathing has different impacts to our feelings? Focus on the inhale energizes. Focus on the exhale relaxes. Remembering to see what we feel as we begin, can make it more satisfying after practicing midnful breathing.

My physical well-being has been a little out of wack since I had come down with the stomach flu about a month ago. I am very stressed between worrying about my own problems as well as schoolwork, but nothing seems to want to calm me down. I liked this meditation, but unfortunately I had kids arguing in the background to really focus on it 😅 I didnt sleep last night. Went to bed at 1 am, woke up to my dog coughing at 7:30 am. Then kids wouldnt stop talking. So that’s fun ahah. Laid in bed until 10:23 am, then got up, made 2 boxes of Mac and cheese. Now I’m laying in bed. Might take the kids to the park later if grandma’s up for it.

I get so great and both relaxed and alert from simply focusing on my breaths. Who would have thought something so simple would be so relaxing and make such a big difference:)

Focusing your attention on your breath can help energize or relax your body. During this session, Lyndi guides you to focus on your exhale if you are looking to relax. This will help relieve any tension you are feeling. If you need a boost of energy, focusing on your inhalation will help give you a boost. Focusing my attention on my breathing gave me the perfect balance of feeling energized as well as relaxed. I am feeling centered. This was exactly what I was looking for. Thank you Lyndi for an excellent session! I will definitely revisit this one.

Energy Boost
Feeling a little sluggish this afternoon, I decided to revisit this session for an energy boost. It is also a wonderful session if you need to relax. With my eyes open, I focus mainly on my inhale breath which is the energizing breath. If you are looking to relax, your exhale will be your main focus.I inhale deeply and exhale normally. After doing this a few times, I feel the energy boost I needed which then I let my body just breath normally for the rest of this session.

Never had I realized the dichotomous nature of a breath. Perfectly harmonious. Like yin and yang. Energizing inhale and relaxing exhale. The number of breaths I’ve taken in my lifetime .. only to realize now that our body already has a way of keeping us balanced. We can’t have one without the other. Can’t be too much or too little. It is acknowledging the opposing entity that we are we able to recognize the other half that makes it whole. All we have to do is breathe and pay attention. What a gift from the universe.

Before this meditation, I felt lazy and distracted. This meditation is very simple: following the breath while using different techniques to maintain a balance between relaxation and alertness. Although I didn’t feel particularly energized following the meditation, I do feel a bit more alert.

i loved this meditation as it kept me at a balanced state of mind. i wasn’t too relaxed like some of the meditations i have done, but i also wasn’t concentrating too hard which would get me stressed out. just a balanced state of mind where you are calm but also alert :)

I never knew that the in and out breaths were for different reasons; energize with the in breath and relax and calm down with the out breath.

I learned that if you meditate it helps you feel like you are always calm and relaxed and not even thinking about kambrisha and I don’t think anything about the negative things anymore because when I meditate I don’t feel like I need to believe anything anything anyone says about me and I talk to myself and really I feel like I’m being bullied by other people but I don’t pay it any attention because I’m talking to the father about my friends Eric and Caroline that go to church with me in Wortham I treat them like brother and sister and my friends Kelli Anne Amanda amber & my other friends from Sunday school too I don’t pay others any attention that is why I always talk to myself me and god have each other
