Relaxation is an art and a science. By relaxation we mean a release of tension in both the mind and the body for a period of time to allow complete rest and revitalization. Like sleep, only these days we tend to go to bed with so much tension that we wake up feeling exhausted. It's a life changing thing to get to relax. It means more enjoyment of life and smoother relationships.

Inhale your future, exhale your past...
With each breath we must inhale our future and exhale our past. The lifting your shoulders up to your ears and wearing them like earrings while you breath in and letting them go while you exhale is a beautiful and powerful exercise. With each breath let's remember to inhale our future and exhale our past. Good morning.

This meditation and exercise caused an emotional response. I have a lot of releasing to do. As I did the forceful exhale and dropping my shoulders, tears formed in my eyes. This technique may help me release some aggression that comes along with my anxiety at times

Letting go and relax
I went to bed thinking about the events of the day. I couldn't sleep as I was still carrying the frustrations from the day. I was so tired and I skipped my meditation practice. I woke this morning knowing that I need to get back on track as I need to relax. That's the whole point of me taking this sabbatical. To learn how to be mindful and present, to not let my frustration and daily stresses get to me. This is a good reminder session but the guided process can be better.

Children play to their fullest. Sleep deeply. Think and concentrate with intent. As an adult we believe we aren’t working to our fullest unless we are multi tasking. Who made up that standard??? Relax with the intention of getting your entire body to become limp.

My conscious and subconscious need to be in sync for me to be relaxed. When I strain myself with over-thinking things consciously, I cause stress and anxiety. If I let my conscious focus on the present, I allow my subconscious to unravel my issues and work with my conscious for solutions. Now I can be relaxed.

Using earbuds allowed me to block out distractions and focus on my breathing and relaxation. I prefer to do meditation while lying down because I tend to better focus on my breathing and can feel my breathe in more of my body.

This session wasn’t what I was looking for tonight...attended a rosary service for my wife’s great aunt tonight. Auntie loved me very much, and I loved her in return! A wonderful woman, our second matriarch of the family, she lived a terrific life, and is very much missed. We were certainly all blessed to have her in our lives! Not being Catholic, the rosary service meant little to me, but I spent the evening thinking on Auntie, and all she meant to my wife and I. I think I’ll go see if any if the Aura stories helps me deal with my loss tonight...funeral services tomorrow morning to get through! Goodnight everybody! Be sure to hug your loved ones tonight!

I learned that... it’s important throughout the day, in our day to day life to pause and make time for relaxation. Weather it be getting a good night sleep, pausing and reminding ourselves to breathe throughout the day, utilizing our lunch break at work for mindfulness, etc. There is always time we just have to make the time and put forth the effort to relax and always focus and engage in the tasks that are at hand but even through them it’s important for us to pause and step away and re focus ourselves and come back to them later on. I really needed to hear this message tonight. 😌✌🏻❤️

I’d be in a world of hurt without mediation, relaxation therapy, focused breath, biofeedback, whatever it is... it has worked for me for some 40 years now. It helps reduce my BP, pulse, tension, stress, pain, anger, etc while aid in increasing my poor ability to breath. Even the drs can tell it works. They witness it happen in sheer seconds, not minutes. Thank you ☺️ Lord, for this gift, along with tai chi, yoga, acupuncture, massage, osteopathic manipulation, and whatever else works positively for the body, mind , and soul.

An excellent tip is that we can look at animals or little kids to teach us how to relax. Instead of being a wound-up adult taking my kids to the park, I’m going to try to experience life as they do—enjoy the moment and relax.

I noticed that when I scrunch my shoulders I take up all that stress from deep down and simply breath it out. What I really liked is when she told me to Focus on breathing and only my breathing. Please try it. In those few moments I was so relaxed. I was repeating to myself “there is nothing I can’t fix”. I was so calm and peaceful.

I felt really stressed because I have to finish my work deliverable with tight deadline tonight. I love this meditation and esp the last quote on be with what you’re doing. It helped to reset and calm my mind to get into a focused state.
