I was trapped in a fire with my grand children
We were trapped and surrounded by roaring flames, it took hours, I couldn’t see through the smoke at times, But I had to save the kids, so despite my terror, I tried to kept calm and made very good decisions. I pushed on and did not let others unwise choices stop me, so we escaped, we survived. 85 people didn’t make it out. I learned I have more courage than I ever knew. It was pointed out many followed me and they too survived. It has taken years to see the good that came from that experience. I still struggle with it
