At times, we just need a few moments to turn inwards so that we can recharge and recenter. At the end of this meditation, you will feel rejuvenated and energised.

It's ok to focus on my needs
I learned not taking care of myself first affects every aspect of my life. It is okay to take care of me.

Self care
Receiving a similar message from several sources helps me recognize how much I must apply it to my life. So now I'm realizing that I have been driven from teenage to be a productive citizen in a capitalistic world. I was failing miserably. I am 67. Time for self care.

Letting Go
It's hard for me to set aside difficult thoughts during meditation. I think I'm letting my struggles define me. I'll definitely be coming back to this meditation to practice letting go!

Check in and refocus
This was a great way to tune into my body, put my worries and stresses I. An imaginary box, and take some very therapeutic breaths.

Working through the pain
Being in the hospital is no fun. The mornings seems to be the toughest, thank god my wife is here and the meditations help to get me to push through the pain, which is often at its highest point right when I wake up. As the day time arrives, things get better, I feel better and have a little more energy. Recovery is a challenge but I know I’ll get through it. Hopefully I’ll only be in here for another 2 or 3 days...

Let go
It's important to really recharge and let go, I often hold things in when I'm upset this often has an effect on my whole day. I love this recharge mediation it really helps me think about what is happening right now, but more importantly how to rejuvinate.

Putting thoughts away, in boxes
Really like the concept of putting thoughts away in boxes, for a while. Immediately felt more relaxed and able to focus on what I need to deal with now, and not dwell, or feel overwhelmed.

Stress
I'm about to housesit and pet sit for the next five weeks. If I'm honest I am completely terrified. I have never lived apart from my family for so long. I don't know how this will play out and it really scares me. I know that in all likelihood nothing bad will happen and it will all work out but it doesn't stop me from worrying. I am also trying to laugh my own business and am stuck on a few details such as a name. I know these things will all work out in the end and this sessions was a nice moment of pushing these thoughts away.

Although every time I meditate, it’s part of “me time”, sometimes it’s nice to hear the words “take this moment for you”. It’s so easy to get caught up in our everyday lives and to constantly think about what we have to get done. I also could feel a difference between my normal deep breaths and the deep inhale with a sighing exhale. It was like my whole body felt more at ease because I was really pushing all the tension out.

Great release

It's okay 🌾.
I love this already. I feel self acceptance and that it's alright to feel certain ways. We're all human and everyone feels sadness we are connected in that way.

Let Go
“What does it feel like to be me right now?” It was a tough question for me to answer tonight without letting my mind wander, but I think I need to write it down and give myself time to think about the answer. I’m doing all of these small sessions to be more mindful, not so much of others, but of myself. I give so freely to others but I sometimes deprive myself of what I need to make my friends or family happy. I need to let that need to please go. Sometimes I need to focus on what it feels like to be me. To sit with those feelings so I can figure them out. Only when I do that will I ever be really able to serve my loved ones freely.

Visualization
I’m learning that I like picturing things like the packing away my thoughts in a safe space for the time that I am meditating and trying to let go of those anxious tendencies. Feeling anxious isn’t bad or wrong. It’s normal and deserves to be acknowledged.

A package of thoughts
Learn to treat your thought like objects - package them away in your mind when they are becoming overwhelming or distracting. Know that you can return to them whenever you need.

day 1
I felt the difficulty to let my thoughts go. I imagined putting them in a box but I was also very much aware that I would get it out again. I had to imagine them flowing out of my mind before I fully let them go.

Again visualizing my thoughts and emotions as objects helps me to move those thoughts and emotions aside and focus on me. Although it may be brief, but being able to move those thoughts and emotions aside helps me to focus on my own happiness.

recharging
It is absolutely essential for me to slip into the gap and cleanse my consciousness of all the thoughts which occupied my attention. Just a few minutes is all it takes. Just a few deep, slow breaths, until my eyes water and my nose runs... For me, that physical release is the indication that I look for. When I’m ready to return I wipe the salty tracks from my cheeks and clear my nostrils with a loud “Honk!”, fully recharged and ready for anything....

Expectations
I set insane amounts of small expectations for myself that I don’t even realize that I’m setting. Expectations about food, my body, tidiness, my job, my relationships. They are the underlying soundtrack of everything that I do. For whatever reason I believe that I will be punished for not meeting them by some external force, be it my boss, my boyfriend, my parents, or even my friends or coworkers.

When I slow down…
When I slow my breathing down and I attempt to slow my mind down, the things that really bother me tend to show up. Whether it’s an ongoing issue, a conflict at work, or a feeling I have toward myself. It’s at that moment I realize that being mindful isn’t ignoring your feelings, but actually acknowledging where you are and what might be upsetting you. When we slow down, we come to terms with our everyday. If we don’t slow down, how can we address ourselves and our needs? Things build up and we carry it within ourselves without realizing.
