This short guided practice is to develop a felt sense of the physical sensations in the body, in preparation for the longer body scan. The practice can be done sitting, standing or lying dow, contracting and releasing muscles sequentially through the body. Learning to sense and feel into the body supports interoception. The guided practice also supports awareness of breathing and knowing where tension is held from strong emotions. Thak you for practicing with me today in the spirit of curiosity.
