A good sinking
I really liked this quick meditation on sinking into bed . It helped me to become calm and forget the thoughts running in my head. Really was able to feel ready for sleep.

Great way to prepare my body for sleep. It is amazing how when coached to let go you just relax and sink more. I am always surprised because I feel relaxed and yet when told exhale and relax more, I truly can relax even further.

Sink into bed
I liked how this one told you was best to get in the bed before you do it and then to keep sinking into bed. I just did it really late at night because I need a good nights sleep. I look forward to doing it again seeing what I get out of it and remember the next time I do it.

I did this meditation outside tonight; something I haven’t done before. The heat of the day has subsided and there is a nice breeze. The sun has gone down, but it’s not quite dark yet. A perfect time for my before-bed session. NOT!!! The robins and starlings are so noisy tonight! I think they’re calling their families to come home for the night. Needless to say, I didn’t get much out of this session because of the distractions, but there’s always tomorrow. 🙏🌷

I was watching Chitty Chitty Bang Bang on my MacBook and left it running on my nightstand while I did my nightly regimen, including Aura. Way too distracting! 🤣 I love this movie though! I haven’t watched it in years, but found it on Amazon Prime Video this evening. As a child I had a standing date with my maternal grandmother, my Nannie Arkison, to watch this whenever it aired on TV!

If you really just let your body just lay there. (I find hands a at yours sides really helps) You can fall asleep pretty fast. Especially when really warm under your blanket.

I believe I've used this track from Cassandra in the past, but didn't see a reflection upon it. I probably fell asleep! Oopsie!🤣 That's what happens to Aura sessions to guide you into sleep I guess!

I learned in this exercise that you don’t have to rush to inhale, hold, and then lash out slowly breath. I felt much calmer during this taking a longer inhalation, and slowly but gently letting my exhalation fully empty my lungs. This was a much for comfortable way to look inward, and focus.
