Stillness
Be still and know that I am God. Without even seeking it out, this verse has been showing up everywhere in my life lately. On podcasts, in books, online, etc. etc. It is so comforting to remember that there is a divine light within all of us. A positive energy that we can trust and rest easy in. When we are still, when we are quiet, when we let go and trust God or this greater purpose that each of us holds within us, what is there left to fear? Let go and seek this light. Find this light in others and encourage it. Love. Love. Love.

Cultivation of peace is a practice
I learned that cultivating inner peace for myself involves seeing myself as part of a community and engaging in forgiveness of others and myself. It's easy to see how others have wronged us and not fully see or acknowledge how r may have wronged others unintentionally. I enjoyed this meditation and am grateful.

Not feeling great this morning
Even after going through this guided meditation and speaking the affirmations over myself, I felt just as bad afterwards. Still feeling stuck, stressed, worried, and anxious. I know that I’m not going to feel good after every meditation...but I was really hoping to find some sense of peace :-(

This was an excellent meditation. It taught me to have inner peace within myself, to forgive other for anything I have done or they have done to me and to give peace to others. I felt very positive after this!

I learned that sometimes I get more out of some of these exercises by opening and closing my eyes instead of keeping them close and doing things with my hands. It makes me more aware of things that I typically do that seem mundane.

Forgiveness and peace
It’s hard sometimes to forgive others but sometimes it’s harder to forgive ourselves. But once we do forgive ourselves, we can be that much closer to peace. I’ve always have had high expectations on myself and I have held grievances against others and even myself sometimes in life. It’s going to take awhile to find absolute peace but small steps are needed. It’s been a difficult time lately but I want to achieve peace of mind.

By calming down with deep breathing, it allows my body to relax & unwind and I drift off into a state of peaceful falling snow. Quiet, hushed, fresh and clean. Gently floating wherever the slight breeze takes me. I feel safe & content. No need to control (where I am going) or worry (if I will get there on time) or even think... just ‘being’ a floating, peaceful snowflake at home with all the other snowflakes. I awake to the ending music, get up and look outside to find 6” of freshly fallen snow and my soul smiles! I decide it is going to be a peaceful day...

Creating peace is like creating your mindset, people aren’t always going to agree on things but that’s when compromise comes in and there becomes many perspectives. Peace brings people together for the better, showing how we should all treat each other as the same with respect but not only that. It teaches us to love one another, rather than causing chaos.

Under the stormy sea
Whenever i feel anxious and begin to focus on my breathing, I picture myself treading water in the dark and rough sea. I begin to concentrate on my breathing and prepare myself to submerge under the crashing waves. I connect with my breath and the fears begins to dissipate. It is calm under the surface. I can finally breath! I glide under the storm of anxiety and worry. Slowly and peacefully, deprived of all the turbulence, distractions and fears. For me mindful breathing is using like having gills. I can breath life in, despite the chaos outside that is crashing about. I am so grateful for this insight. I can save myself from drowning in a deadly ocean of my own making! No worries right now, just gliding along with the natural currents!!!🙏🐠

Although admittedly the meditation gave me a sense of peace, I am not that fond of affirmations that are wordy and delivered at a fast pace. I find that they become difficult to repeat or hold within my thoughts and thus seem to negate the intent. I tend to focus on trying to remember the words. What I was looking for when I selected that I was feeling anxious today. I get to visit with my new (old) neurologist this afternoon in follow-up to the long battery of imaging he had me do the last few weeks. MRIs. CT scans. X-rays. Top-to-bottom, if it could be scanned, imaged or irradiated, it was! I should be glow-in-the-dark by now!🤣 This fellow is the one who operated on me in the hospital after my stroke. He's literally been IN my head! My wife has been raving about him for years now, and he IS a very nice guy! I just hope he can figure out why I'm having further deterioration here years after the stroke event, and on the same side as the stroke happened! It SHOULD be impossible, so he’s apparently looking for other causes ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Tranquility is possible. Peace is possible. If we allow ourselves to heal past wounds, to ask for forgiveness to those we've caused pain or grant forgiveness to those that have inflicted pain upon us, scars will start to form. Repair can begin. And we can renew our hearts, so that love and peace can radiate out and unto others. We deserve peace and tranquility.

When I opened Aura to meditate, this beautiful meditation recorded was chosen for my daily moment. I am beyond grateful that I decided to listen and meditate to it, as it is filled with amazingly peaceful affirmations and wishes that really resonated with me. Resting in my seat, I took in a few deep breaths. After I performed a quick body scan, becoming aware of any tension my body was holding onto, I released. Feeling relaxed now, I was ready to be brought to a place where tranquility can be found. Becoming still, I began to listen to these peaceful affirmations and wishes. Affirming these beautiful words into my being, I felt this beautiful peace wash over me. Afterwards, I visualized a peace opening of a golden light entering my body. Spreading throughout my body, a feeling of peace grew stronger. As my body became illuminated by this golden light, I entered into a tranquil place. Radiating peace, I say these words to you: May you find peace in your mind and heart so you may radiate peace onto others. Namaste 🙏🏻❤️☮️
