My peaceful place
Laying down for this meditation, I felt myself sinking into the bed as I totally relaxed. I thought the background music was a little loud initially, but as Irene spoke about that secret peaceful place in my head, the one that is all mine, to visit whenever I wish, I could feel that music. It was swirling in my head, in that secret place. It was such an intense feeling of focus that I don’t think I’ve experienced before. I’m not sure that I heard her words after the first few minutes. Wonderful! I’m saving this in my favorites. Namaste Irene. 🙏💙

The inner peace is in my head
Irene’s ending comment surprised me. I had one hand on my belly and the other on my heart center and I could feel peace in my belly. At her comment I took time after to trace it back up to my brain. All connected and very awesome. Namaste

I’m trying to get out of my head and she tells me that’s where my place of peace is 😂 I like to visualize that place in my belly, which makes me feel more grounded. Her Dutch accent is a bit distracting to be honest. And I’m Dutch myself...

I week before my audition
I am preparing for my audition for college and I have felt very restless, and I’ve thought to myself negative things that this won’t go well. I am trying to figure out how to be more positive about this and I figured why not do an Aura session. This helped me calm myself a little bit, and I actually feel sleepy.

I learned that this a great mindful minute to start your day! I started off my day doing this and it was one of the best decisions I’ve made so far today, I feel so refreshed, calm and recharged. I was completely at peace in my head! I also believe that this mediation is crucial and beneficial to do throughout our day, especially with all the stress and hardships we face in our day to day life. If we are at peace in our minds it makes it easier for us to continue to go back to it when we face difficulties and challenges in our day to day life and to remain our true self and not get overwhelmed and stay in our peaceful mind. ✌🏻☮️

I found a peacefull place
Last time I tried to think of a place where I feel safe I found none. This time was different, because I didn't search for something real like a place or a person or a memory, but for something in my imagination. And I imagined myself going into my own head and there creating such a place by thinking of how it could be. And I'll try to imagine it more often till I know it good enough to go there if I need it.

I was having a very rough day at work (a co-worker called out and boss lady had no replacements; so of course I’m always the one she turns to when anyone calls out. Making me work from 6am to 8pm) and so I had decided that I needed a moment to mediate for myself. From this mediation I learned that my peaceful place is actually a library filled to the brim of books I would love (think of the library in the movie Beauty and the Beast) and after I felt a whole lot lighter and less stressed out.

I noticed that meditating before bed gives me a couple of minutes off my phone before bed that I mow
I learned that “me time” is crucial and that’s instead of being on my phone for a couple minutes at night I can used that time in meditation while reflecting on my day.

Irene, again I listened to this wonderfully quieting meditation. I listen to this whenever I have a great need for inner peace. I am very uncomfortable because it is not in my nature to complain. Her accent was very thick, and she did not enunciate, slurring her words together. Speaking too fast. How can you meditate when you are distracted in your attempt to understand what she is saying? The intention was very admirable; but for myself, not so much. I am sorry, but there were too many obstacles to understanding this meditation. Namaste.
