Sitting in the Waiting
In today’s world, we see something that we want and it can magically appear in a few days. In some cases, we get what we want in just a few short hours. This quick turnaround has trained us to be impatient.
In this meditation, we practice sitting in the waiting and while we do, notice what happens in our body.
Sitting in an upright position, I thought of something I want. While my focus was on the thing I wanted, I could sense constriction in my heart. A sense of lack. I shifted my focus to my breath which naturally occurs in the Now and something interesting occurred in my heart. I could sense expansion. A sense of gratitude for ‘what is’ in the moment. Sensing abundance instead of lack, peace fills my body. Feeling peaceful, I am sitting in the waiting, sensing the truth of who I am.
