I'm getting better at noticing when I'm distracted and returning to my breath. I'm also forgiving myself more easily when my mind does wander off. Just gotta keep taking it one breath at a time.

Events that are stressful are hard to shake. Even the next day... and the next, even! Dwelling on those events is easy. Trying to “be here now”, in the moment helps, but stress sometimes wins. Be here now.

Deep breaths to let go and relax
I learned that by doing some deep breathing we can let go of whatever tension or stress we have as well as let go of everything that is bothering us and just take some time out of our busy schedules to relax and be present with ourselves one deep breath at a time.

The breath meditations are my favorite. I've learned that when I have unwanted negative thoughts during my day that I can say to myself "take a few breaths" and the invading thought disappears. I don't even have to stop what I'm doing, I just say those words.

To Maintain focus, focus on 1 breath. I’ve heard that even when ‘multi-tasking’ you are really only able to focus on one thing at a time, so when you divide your attention between two things, you don’t actually give 100% to either of the things. I will try to use 1 breath today to remind me to focus on the primary task @ hand.

Good Morning so I have taken time this morning to breathe and listened to my surroundings it was very peaceful. The Time went by so quickly. I found myself lost in time for about 30 minutes just Breathing Reflecting Meditating Relaxing my mind. I said my morning Blessing and Prayer and gave Thanks to God. I always have time to do that. I guess what I'm trying to say is yes time goes by quickly but you are in control of how you use and how your time goes Bye Bye try to set time for yourself. We need time to gather our thoughts revive ourselves I know I do. We are all Special and Loved. Time to go for now Have a wonderful Morning.

Interesting how something as simple as focusing on your breath brings you to the present, where no emotions exist. Becoming jaded?
I think I’m becoming a bit jaded toward my Aura sessions...my mind seems to start wandering sooner, and I think I'm feeling ”bored” faster and faster each day. I don't know. When I was having trouble getting a session to start and continue a day or so back, I was served a session I thought I would really enjoy, but it didn't continue, and I didn't catch what ”channel” it was from or who the practitioner was. It was like a fully produced audio program with sound effects in the background...much more pleasing to my ears than a straight narration session or a strictly nature sound offering! Any suggestions on what I was listening to would be appreciated!

I’ve learned that if I think of breathing like a flower petal - the beginning of inhale and end of exhale as the bottom and the middle of the inhale and exhale as the curve of the petal and the peak of the breath as the very tip - it becomes soothing and like art. The way the pencil or paintbrush flows along the blank canvas. Focusing on breathing one breath at a time becomes very soothing and relaxing. I just need to focus lightly and everything becomes light and calm in my head. 😌

I’ve realized that controlling my breathing is very important when it comes to being more self-aware. If I’m upset I need to recognize my breathing is different and then try and get it on the right track. Something as small as this can make a profound difference when managing stress or changing my mood.
