Cycle of Love
In this beautiful meditation, Kristy has us fill up our own cup of loving kindness and compassion so that we are readily available to give these wonderful thoughts to others. When we give to others what we feel inside, our overall well-being will be greatly enhanced.
Sitting in my chair, I began the cycle of simply breathing of inhaling and exhaling, becoming at ease. On my next inhale, I began to visualize breathing in loving kindness and compassion for myself. It only took a few times of breathing in these feelings until my entire being was indeed, loving kindness and compassion. On my next exhale, I visualized sending out loving kindness and compassion to everyone else in the universe. Breathing loving kindness and compassion on my inhale and exhale, this cycle of love grew stronger and stronger. With each cycle of love, the receptors in my brain began to light up and get more excited, giving my overall sense of well-being an enormous boost. I have an overwhelming sense of gratitude, peace, appreciation and love not just for me, but for all.
