It's easy to forget, but actually the breath is keeping us alive every moment of our lives. With this practice, we remember this and notice how the breath nourishes and sustains us, which helps us to feel nourished and fulfilled.

Centering
I love breath focused meditations. This easy meditation requires nothing more than focusing on how nourishing our in-breath is and how we can let go and release negativity on our exhale. It was very calming and centering. I found it easier to release negativity from the entire body by thinking of negativity generically rather than focusing on specifics. šŸ’«šŸ™šŸ’«

It helped me regain perspective, what was important and required my energy and what did not
I need to use this app more regularly, I have a very demanding and stressful job but maybe taking three minutes in conjunction with my lunch will help

Nourishing Breathing
Many times I forget how important it is to breathe. I get so worked up and stressed over certain things that it is hard for me to focus on the good. This breathing exercise reminded me of how important breathing is. A few deep breaths can take away your stress in only a few seconds. It can help you stay calm in the worst of times. It can provide you with the feeling that everything is going to be okay. In stressful situations, that is the most important thought of all. It’s all you need, really.😊

I noticed that as i breathed out it felt like I was releasing pressure off my shoulders.
I learned to remember the breath gives me life and to cherish that. It’s the little things we don’t even think about.

Sustaining...
Quite often, we find ourselves stuck in thoughts and our stories that we forget that our body is constantly breathing in the background. When we take the time to connect to our breath, miraculous things can happen. In this soothing meditation, Jiva has us become conscious of our breath and in doing so, we find and connect with the peace that is always available to us. Getting settled in my chair, I went within and connected to the parts of my body where I felt my breath. Just by connecting to my breath, I immediately felt more calm. On my inhale, I felt air flow in through my nostrils, down my throat and fill my lungs. Inhaling, I feel rejuvenated with fresh energy. On my exhale, I felt the air exiting my nostrils as my belly relaxed. Exhaling, I feel my body release and relax, as I let go of anything that no longer served me. Breath after nourishing breath, my body is sustaining life. As I realize this, I am reminded that life itself, is truly a miracle! Namaste šŸ™šŸ»ā¤ļøā˜®ļø

I noticed my breath slow down and deepen.
I found it helpful to use the phrases ā€˜nourish’ and ā€˜letting go’ to focus on my breath when my mind wandered.

Learning to pay attention to breathing is paying attention to life. Breathing is life; Life is breathing.
Inhaling is like waking up all the senses in mind, body, and spirit and giving my body what it needs to thrive. Exhaling is releasing those things that weigh me down.

Feels like fog lifting
I have a tendency to hold my breath through the day. At the end of this breathe session, I experienced a feeling of clearing. Much like driving through fog and coming out of the other side to a clear road.

It might have been me
I’m not sure but I didn’t find the session that inspiring. To me, personally, the coach sounded disconnected and seemed like she didn’t care either way. She sounded sort of bored. Came out of the 8 minute session sort of bummed.
