Often it feels like we just rush on from one thing to the next, and there's never a pause. But actually we can tune into micro-pauses in our breathing, which can help us feel more spacious. Give it a go with this practice!

Pausing
This meditation was a wonderful reminder and precisely what I needed. I have been so busy recently, that other than my mindfulness time, I wasn’t taking pause. I pushed and pushed throughout the day, collapsing into bed at day’s end, to get up and do it all over again. The demands of my schedule won’t change however noticing the pause reminded me of the importance of finding balance and a comfortable rhythm. Thank you to Jiva for this pause.

Refreshing
I have practiced this previously but had completely forgotten about this meditation until Debb mentioned it. I am grateful she did as it is such a wonderful reminder of an extremely important aspect of self care. The pause quiets your entire system and it’s so fast, easy, and effective. I just have to remember to do it!

Sleepy
Before starting the meditation, I was trying to stop myself from being stressed because I woke up late for work. But after the meditation, I feel so relaxed that I just want to return to bed!

I learned
That I needed to take a break and everything doesn’t have to be rushed. It’s okay to slow down. My problem today Is i wanted a little time today from my husband do something different and as usual it never happens. So, I’m left feeling anxious, sad and alone.

Pause on the pivot
A good intention for the day, to more mindfully move from one task or event to the next, enjoying the moments of peace and silence in between. Namaste

Forced
My breath is so forced it does not feel relaxing. Thinking too much about it makes my breathing more difficult.

Noticing
I have noticed in the past that the sensation at the end of and after the exhale is the most relaxing aspect of the breath.

Focus
"Focus on breathing; it's keeping you alive after all." Good sentiment.

A minute to myself
Whilst practicing my meditation today, I had the epiphany that I am deserving of focusing my mind on myself. Every waking minute does not have to be focused on addressing one issue or other. It’s ok to just ‘be’ for a few minutes. All else will keep.

Pausing ...
Talking the time to notice the pause following my exhale allowed me to really enter my breathing cycle and feel the uneven balance of the busy nothingness of my mind and the relaxed tightness of my body combine as they separated into a dead calm... until I felt myself breathe in a new life sustaining taste of the age old ethers... 👃🏼🫁🍀
