Nasrudsin’s Donkeys
I learned that sometimes we try to hard to find the answer to something that we don’t slow down and rationalize. The answer is sometimes right under our nose but we think too much of it. We as humans always overthink but we need to settle down and realize what’s in front of us.

Right in front of your face!
Sometimes the answer IS obvious! I need to keep my eyes open more, for certain! I may complain and suffer, but there ARE answers and opportunities out there! Just need to keep the ol’ eyes open!🤣

I learned that sometimes the answers right in front of your face that you just need to stop asking yourself more questions to create more catastrophes than you already need.

Hidden in Plain Sight
For most things, we have to look deeper than what is on outside or what is right in front of our noses. We have to understand when people are going through hardships, that even though they look ok it is what feelings are really deep down that is actually happening. And also: never judge a book by its cover. Like how one of my favorite quotes goes: “Like many things, it’s not what is outside, but what is inside that truly counts”.

The donkey
I just love this story because in some aspects it could be like a riddle to the reader but also with a good moral lesson.

Thought Provoking
I loved this as this short story could be applied to when we face problems in our day to day life.

Maybe the answer is under my nose
I need to stop looking so hard for something that could be already there. I’m always over thinking things in life

Day 4
I often feel like sometimes I overlook easy things in front of me or overlook import things for others. This is something I used to be very good at and need to continue to work on.

Being positive
I learned that when you forgive those who have hurt you in the past you feel good about yourself or when you do something bad and you want someone to forgive you and they say they forgive you you feel very happy knowing that person knows how you feel

We often don’t notice the big picture in like and we’re more concentrated on the smaller things

Meaning in all the wrong places
Sometimes the most important/meaningful things are the things we may overlook and underappreciate in life, and once you can learn to find the meaning in everything, including the small things, you will be worlds happier than you are now.

Sometimes
How often do we search for the correct answer? We look , we search, we think and worry how we will find the answer we are looking for, when all the time the answer is in front of us. Simply because. Sometimes.

The story was told slowly and calmly, with ample detail that relaxed my mind.

Look and you shall see 👁
Sometimes the answer is so obvious, yet we can’t see it when it’s right in front of us. The answer is only as complicated as we make it.🤔

Sometimes the answer can be right in front of your face
Sometimes we are too busy to see what is right in front of us. The answer can be right in front of your face, but we are either too busy or too involved to see the answer right in front of us.

How could I be so blind? How is it possible to create such a skewed version of reality?

NEXT UP ON THE NEWS: ALLEGED DONKEY SMUGGLER FINALLY CONFESSES ON DEATHBED!
ALRIGHT OUT THERE- someone needs to explain this “thought provoking story” to me because I just wasted my daily 3 minutes & got nothing from it. Please explain how he’s smuggling donkeys when he leaves with one in the morning & returns with one in the evening??? Maybe I’m more mathematically challenged than I thought??

Donkeys!
This story really makes me smile. Donkeys! I can see a old man saying that and just smiling. Sometimes just being so wrapped up in a task, I can loose sight of the obvious.

Don’t overlook what’s right in front of you.
How easy it is to overlook the obvious, especially when it’s right in front of you. I learned it would be best to bring more awareness to my thoughts and feelings and it may help me see the answers easily overlooked. Just yesterday I received a resignation from a team member that caught me off guard. As I reflected back over the last 3-4 months my gut knew this was coming and I ignored it by not paying enough attention to it, the signs were right in front of me. I too missed the donkey! On a positive spin, this helps bring a different view of seeing those golden nuggets that we all experience in our interactions with each other day to day. The ones that can be easily overlooked b/c we didn’t pay them any attention.

Slow down
It’s easy to miss the obvious when speeding through life. Slow down a bit, both physically and mentally, to experience the wonders of life’s journey.
