i noticed how mindful i was of my body. it was so easy for me to imagine me being a mountain because i was very focused. this helped me a lot and i’ve only done it once. cant wait to do more lessons!

Visualizing myself as a mountain—steady, rooted—is a helpful visualization for me. I often react quickly to things going on around me (which is something that is often necessary in my job but not necessarily good for my interpersonal interactions). Visualizing myself as a mountain can help me to be more measured, reflective and slower to respond.

It kind of ironic that this meditation was about mountains. I had to pass over a snowy mountain and see a few accidents and spin outs and realized that just maybe it was time to stop. I was trying to get to a wedding. These cars were passing me and then spinning out at the top. I had to pass them. I didn’t make it all the way the first night but I was safe. I am that mountain. I can conquer it. I did it nice and slow and with a lot of prayer. Thank you, Aura! Have a nice day Everyone!😀

1) I THOUGHT I had listened to this lesson previously but didn't see any reflection left. 2) I easily imagined myself as the mountain where I used to live so happily...before life rolled even more happily on; with love, marriage, children, joy, tragedy, everything! Mountains keep their feet firmly planted within the Earth, stable, strong, proud. Withstanding everything man and nature throw at them. BE THAT MOUNTAIN!

Upon reading what my friend wrote after listening to this lesson, I decided to give it a try myself. Strong and steady. Staying that way. Slowing responses, giving more thought to situations, relying on our own ability to keep ourselves strong and steady throughout our lives; what a great reminder when we seem to slip a bit off track regardless of having the best of intentions. I am grateful I listened to this gentle reminder of such an important lesson today.

Why can’t I be a mountain? I am a mountain and I can do anything if I realize just how powerful I am as a human being. Great way to end the day and reflect!

I needed this, I need to learn to forgive others as well as myself. I should listen to this every morning to remind myself to be kind and forgiving with myself first and with others.

With all of the negativity that is around, it is nice to visualize yourself as a mountain, standing tall and steady. We all have the ability to not allow negativity to consume ourselves. But, as with a mountain remaining steady withstanding different climate patterns, we too can remain steady regardless of changing circumstances in our lives. I was reminded of my time living in Alaska visualizing myself as Denali, The Great One. For those that do not know, Denali is the tallest mountain in North America at 20,320 feet! In fact, often times Denali makes its own weather. From now on, I will visualize myself as Denali, standing tall and steady! Thank you Jiva! Namaste! 🙏🏻

This phrase, which came at the end if the session was one that resonated most with myself. I have been working on this but I now realize that lately I have been not as diligent. This served as a much needed gentle reminder and I hope pairing it with the visualization of the mountain will help
