Hands
Aware of the feeling and position is hard to define with words. Taking my focus to think about their position removed me from other thoughts. Practice makes better practice ...

Sunny Day 11-10-17
I learned that I take my hands for granted. This was an excelled, but shot little mediation for me. I am recently healed from dog bite wound on my finger and washing my hands for the first time was AWESOME! I could really feel the sensation the woman was talking about in this meditation. Her voice was drew me in. Thank you, Aura! Happy Day, Everyone!

Focus
I felt like I was training my mind be in a simple state and just focus on one thing, my hands. I felt relaxed and concentrated on focusing on how my hands felt.

Learn to be Mindful
There’s great a difference between being shallowly aware of where your hands are, and being deeply mindful of the small tiny sensations that your hands feel. Once you start being mindful of the tiny things (even for just a minute or two) then that’s a step, albeit a tiny one, into further knowing and acknowledging yourself—a vital aspect of self-care

awareness
existing is thinking, living is awareness. it is imperative to be aware of everything you may be feeling, physically or emotionally, even for just a couple of moments a day. this is how we grow.

Morning
I have mostly meditated later in the day but Morning mindfulness was a great way to start my day. I think before I have gotten into my day.

Hands
To identify all the feelings that arise in our hands. They are so important in our daily lives. Focusing on them soothed my mind so it would not wander.

Run away mind
I am more aware of how fast my mind takes off. I just started focusing on adding meditation into my daily routine, so I know it’s going to be a bit before my mind is less hectic. I realized I am still allowing my mind to take off. A little sad I still allow it to happen, half the time I would rather daydream than focus. I am also grateful to have more insight into where I am at.

Understanding
We so easily forget understanding is not just about others but about ourselves too. In a world of such frenetic activity find some peace... breathe

Focusing on things besides problems/thoughts
I learned that shifting my attention and awareness on everyday objects with great significance is clearing for the mind and body. It allows me to escape from everyday stress and busy thoughts. And take time to bring the focus back to myself in way.

Learned 2
I learned that I needed to take some time to just breath, not let stress (in myself or from others) get to me, that my palm points when placed on my lap give off a mix between tingly and a buzzing sensation.

Left Hand Hold
When called to pay attention to my hands the back of my hands felt warm on my thighs. When awareness to the palms, my right felt bony and achy but the left felt warm like I was holding a golden ball of light. When I noticed I got distracted, lost focus twice and then focused on the breath.

Nice, calming alternative
This is a good alternative to always focusing on the breath or continually scanning the entire body. Having just done a longer breathing meditation beforehand, in which I began to lose focus by the end due to feeling drowsy, this hand meditation got my mind focused again. I feel calm and more connected.

Hands
