I am too focused on other people’s happiness and not my own. I waste too much valuable time on social media. I need to refocus on myself and what truly makes me happy. Day 1 of no social media, no smoking, no drinking, no texting guys first and eating healthy and working out to become a better me. More positive thinking less sarcasm!

I realized that while i was focused on breathing my body got heavier with every intake and lighter with every exhale that i did. i also noticed that when i reminded myself to focus on breathing the ticking of the clock in the room began to grow quiet and fade away - not entirely gone, but quite minute.

Hard to stay focused
Today I learned that I don’t fully trust the technology in this app. There were longer periods of time without any verbal mindfulness guidance and I kept looking at the timer on the app to make sure the audio had not been interrupted. I’ll have to do this one again later today since I know what to expect.
