Mindfulness Teacher and Mentor
This meditation helps you to come back to the present moment by connecting with the breath. It helps to stimulate the calming system in your body. Please note: If you are struggling with your mental health it's really important to seek professional help. These meditations are not a substitute for that but can be used along side therapy to help to support you. For more on Carla-Jo and her work please see www.carlajo-mindfulness.com

This helped me refocus my thoughts, calm down after a long and busy day at work.
I especially like the reminders as I get too tied up in the days activities.

Going through motions at this point
I'm trying to be consistent with my daily meditation but I'm still not experiencing what others seem to experience. I don't get a feeling of relief from my anxiety. It may lessen for a moment but it comes right back full force. I'm not taking any prescription medications as they do nothing but "block" and are a false way to deal with anxiety and depression. I've been down that road before and they only numb me to my emotions. Hopefully at some point, anxiety and depression will lift for good. I don't believe anyone is meant to live with this in their lives on a daily basis.

Breathing
3 minutes goes by so quickly! It was interesting to focus specifically on my nostrils while breathing, and really feel the subtle temperature change between the inhale and exhale. Always amazed how by focusing on a specific part of the body, so much is revealed.

Essential
Breathing is essential beyond the oxygen intake. When agitated simply focusing on your breath and how it feels can ease it. Relax tense muscles. Help deal with pain. It is a nice break to slow your thoughts down to just what feels like to breathe

Here. Now.
I need to focus on what is happening right now. Don’t stress about what hasn’t happened yet. Just breath and focus on what is right in front of you.

Breathing
I learned that I am easily distracted by the overwhelming amount of stress and anxiety that fills my life, and the only thing I can control is my breathing, one breath at a time.

Myself
My anxiety and stress doesn’t control me. I control myself and I need to just breathe. I used to think that the quote “just breathe” was corny but now I realize the importance in just breathing.

Positive Breathing
With every breathing exercise I imagine inhaling positive thoughts &/or feelings & exhaling the negative. Example: I inhale love & I exhale hate. I inhale peace & exhale anxiety. I inhale kindness & exhale anger. I’m learning to let go of the negativity

Breathing and being mindful of your breathing can affect your mood immensely
I need to be mindful of my breathing more often throughout my daily activity
M
Mel
I do not like the feel of the Ir in my body and it’s all very new and unfamiliar to me
Each breath is different for the last and to focus on your body and how your breath feels through it letting your attention focus on the senses in you

Inner Strength ❤️
Dear all, today I found myself reflecting on what have 10 years of regular/daily practice of mindful meditation given me , how has it benefited my life? The first thing that came to me was inner strength. The last ten years for me, like most of us I’m sure, have been filled with the beautiful but also very challenging experiences. Having a daily mindfulness practice has enabled me to feel strong, steady and calm through those times. I just feel so moved at the power of cultivating mindful awareness! So I just wanted to say if you’re a beginner then keep on practicing even on the days where you feel temped not to as it will enrich your life more than you can begin to imagine! Love and Kind Wishes Carla-Jo ☺️🙏🏻❤️

Mindfulness of Breathing
My mind loves to wonder as I attempt meditation so I am grateful for this reminder to focus on the sensations of my breath. Sometimes counting my breaths keeps me too much in my head, where as sensation awareness helps me stay focused on my body. 🙏🏻

Releasing back tension 🧘‍♀️
I took my awareness of breath to my back where I feel tension when I’m under stress. I hold the tension without really thinking about it because I’ve become accustomed to it. It’s nice to focus on that part of my body and try to release some of the tension. I should do this at least once everyday! Thanks 🙏 Carla-Jo
