I feel I can have a great day.
Life will always be a challenge. It’s how we come out of it that matters. Maintain peace within our souls.

Mindfulness: Leaves on a Stream
I love guided imagery. I also liked how the stream would directly take my mind or thoughts away. Often in meditations I get frustrated when my mind is elsewhere, but this gave me a quick redirection, while allowing me to stay immersed in the meditation. I felt very calm at the end of this.

Day 3
This was one of my more enjoyable meditations recently it was very calming and relaxing.
C

I could actually send my thoughts down the stream and my thoughts actually stopped briefly.
Picturing nature helps me relax and recharge. I saw every thought land on a leaf and float down the stream. I was slowly acknowledging them and letting them flow away.

Stopping Thoughts
At first I felt a little empty watching all of my thoughts go by, but I appreciated the brief moment of separate serenity that it brought me. It was definitely different.

Leaves on a stream
Great way to deal with thoughts while meditating. Place each thought on a leaf and place in the water and watch the stream whisk it away in the current. Thanks

Great Meditation
This was very nice because it made me feel like I never had to worry about anything else ever again. I noticed that the more “Leaves” you sent down the river, the less your body and mind wandered and I felt very relaxed.

Stream
I sat on the soft mossy bank, giant trees surrounded me, grassy knolls spotted the area with small colourful blooming flowers scattered upon them like freckles on a face. In front of me was my stream, pebbled and flowing, diamond sparkles glinted in the sunlight as the water chuckled over its bed. Silvered fish darted between the rocky bottom and autumn coloured leaves meandered their way down. I breathed deep, stood and slid into the water. Cooling my body I undulated and melded into the depths, upon my back I felt the pebbles, within me the water and above me the sky. I was my stream and it was me, I continued my journey, I was the beginning, the middle and the end.

Leaves Floating Down Stream
This meditation allowed me to be a passive observer of my flowing thoughts. As I observed my thoughts floating past me I found inner peace.

Anxiety
Super anxious session, continued meditating after the instruction and I was just a big ball of anxiety. Listening to people give instructions while I have anxiety only makes me more anxious because I feel like I shouldn’t have the anxiety. Meditation is the most difficult thing I’ve ever done in my life, but I keep coming back to it.

Frustration
Nature is the constant. I am not. What is not stable in my life is me. My choices. My choice to not let the negative thoughts float away downstream. Even though a want them gone they stay. The positive float and become a part of nature, a part of me. Why do the leaves with negative thoughts not float eventually to the sea.......

Leaves 🍁 on a Stream
Having spent countless moments watching leaves float on streams, dancing and bobbing along as they skirt their way around obstructions that would otherwise keep them stuck, I loved loved loved this meditation and the visual connection to our thoughts. Thank you for this! 🙏

Relax/ leaves floating meditation
I felt good visualizing and knowing it was a short meditation. There is some tension between visualizing and not holding on to thoughts, but I didn’t obsess over it or worry about controlling it too much.

Floating leaves
Are big enough to hold my worries. Strong enough to hold my hopes. Gracefully float in soothing water. One leaf at a time my mind clears.

Thoughts
My thoughts are floating downstream on leaves. I am in harmony with my well being; relaxed, recharged and fired up - tuned in, turned in, tapped on! I’ve been in my Vortex for a solid 6 days and counting on to infinity. This place of allowing is the best place to be. When I look within there are no worries in life and I’m so excited to be in love with myself and others. #OmShanti #Love #Light

Cleaning...
The sunshine playfully danced its way thru the multi-colored leaf canopy & down to my bubbling brook. . . I find a sunny rock & sit down to watch the mesmerizing water as it rolls along, over & around the rocks & branches making its way “lazily” downhill. The warmth of the rock contrasts sharply with the Crisp, clean-smelling air. “Fall is definitely here” I think, as I watch the orange & brown leaves parachute from above. I notice one particularly beautiful one fall right into the middle of the current. As it changes directions instantaneously & is whisked away, I notice writing on the underside...! I jump up to follow it to see what it says. Scrambling along, over & around the rocks & branches is not as easy as it is in the movies. After awhile I finally catch it and it reads “Dreams” !?! Have I been chasing after someone else’s dream... ouch! I wake up to hear... “place your thoughts on a leaf and let it go,” allow it to flow... so I Do !! I put work on one, my boss on another, projects on others, my garage goes on a big burnt leaf! I put everything I am concerned about on them and watch them go downstream...👋 bye! (I hope no one chase them). Then she says to put Every thought, good or bad, on there and I start to unload my car, my new garage plans and everything else dreams & goals, etc. onto a bushel of leaves. And the next thing I Know - I am freely blank... blissful nothingness - aware of everything & nothing but I Am

🍁 on a Stream
A favorite that I return to again and again. ♥️ Perhaps this resonates with me because I have spent countless hours watching leaves dance and drift on streams. Close your eyes and Cassandra expertly brings you right to the edge of the stream, feeling the cool fresh breezes as you watch the leaves drift on by. You will feel calm and refreshed after 3 short minutes.

Mindfulness Leaves on a Stream
I think that I have found my new favorite mediation. I love to be in a forest with water. I pictured myself there in the fall. I let all my stress and worry and planning just float away. Those things will not change what will really happen. Let the water take them

Nice one Cassandra!
I recommend adding about 50% river and just a smidge of music to this track when enjoying it. Had a weird, stressful sort of day today.😳 Volunteered to run a STEM activity for this evening's ”Spring Fling” event at our school tonight, but it wasn't what I expected it to be at all! The principal wanted me to run a LEGO robotics demonstration, and we found out the hard way that after our school was used as a staging ground for the district to bring in new furniture for all the schools, someone had moved most of our expensive LEGO robotics supplies, but NO ONE knew where! We spent the afternoon scouring the campus trying to locate our bins of LEGO and last season’s robot game playfield! Luckily our most expensive supplies; robot brain bricks and motors, had been secured in my co-coaches’ own classroom! Thanks to a few dedicated team members I managed to put on a good demo with what we could find! Super proud of the kids who helped out! Wouldn't have had a demo to present without their help!

Letting Go of Thoughts
This visualization guides you sitting by a stream, smelling the fresh air and watching leaves float down the stream. Each thought that enters your mind is placed on a leaf as it is guided by the current of the stream. This meditation makes your mind feel relaxed, calm and refreshed. 🍃🙏🏻

Nice but...
This meditation requires putting your thoughts on leaves as they float down a stream. Nice idea, but the facilitator literally never stops talking which is very distracting and thus the meditation failed. Even in the short meditation, facilitators need to give you time to do what they’re asking you to do so that you can learn to do something and accomplish some of it during the initial meditation.

Helpful
I found it helpful to have something concrete like the leaves to deal with the thoughts that keep coming into my mind when I am trying to meditate. My mind doesn’t want to be blank so it helps to have the leaves to focus on.

Leaves on a Stream
Delightful visuals to gently empty the mind of thoughts! My thought bubbles floated and landed on the leaves, leaving my mind with a stillness that lasted longer than the session. This stillness is excellent ground for the seeds of insight to be planted after this meditation. Plans and solutions come clearly and easily for me to face the day.

Great for disconnecting from less beneficial thoughts
I enjoyed this meditation because it offers another way to disconnect from thoughts that aren’t beneficial. The visualization of a stream is calming, the water flowing past, taking certain thoughts with it gently, is beautiful imagery and very effective.

This meditation was so helpful!! I really enjoyed putting my thoughts of my crush, organic chemistry, physics, my quiz today, and everything else on a leaf and letting it float on the river. Symbolically I think this helped me to let things go

Refreshing...
I always like these kinds of meditations! Picturing yourself beside a nice clear stream and watching the leaves float downstream. When a thought come along, just place it on a leaf and watch it float downstream. Simple & effective way to becoming the ‘Observer’ of the situation. Within seconds of doing this I am in a calm relaxed state of being... and within just a few minutes I am refreshed, clean & whole again. I have mentally done this one a lot whenever I need a quick mind cleanse & refresh. Do-able almost anywhere! Try it... ❤️👍🏼🍀

Thoughts

Thoughts Are Like Leaves on a Steam
In many ways our own thoughts are just like leaves floating on a steam; sometimes our thoughts come and go. There will be times where we get too many thoughts/ leaves that they are harder to deal with and other times we have less thoughts to deal with and things are very peaceful

Leaves on a Stream
I think this might be a really good practice to try without the meditation. That way, you wouldn’t feel distracted by her voice or any other elements of the meditation and could simply focus on the stream. The time also seemed to fly by so I think it would be beneficial if practiced for longer.

First meditation
I’ve never meditated before, and I’m astounded at how much this small three minute exercise immediately took away the pit in my stomach and the stress in my jaw, I was overcome a bit with a feeling of relief. I’ve never realized that my thoughts can be let go so easily, or that they can be escaped, even the arbitrary ones. The visualization helped tremendously for me.

Stress
I learned that the human body is truly amazing and it’s a lot easier to learn and get better with you happy! Stress is something that needs to be taken seriously for everyone! But where I’m coming from especially males we are all taught from a young age you need to be a “man” and be tough which I don’t disagree with that completely but I think it would be a lot easier for us to “cowboy up” and be tough if we have the correct way of doing so! 😊

I dwell on too many things to do and become immobilized and disheartened. I end accumulating to the same things and is burden piles on it seems virtually impossible to ever get back on top of it.

Imagined the Lord next to me at the stream. Yearned for a Father to take care of me, He held me close and allowed me to lay down. Thoughts of my parents came up, tried to place them on a leaf sent down the stream. Tried to rush the flow of those thoughts.

Let it flow
I noticed once I got the negative and worrisome thoughts dissolved I was able to focus and move on to those happier thoughts. It’s almost as though their just hiding behind everything else. Giving myself time to deal with it so I can focus on the good is something I need to do more often over just circling with them.
