Resting our attention on the out-breath... Noticing the gap that naturally opens up at the end of each breath... spacious... free...

Mind the Gap
The phrase “mind the gap” reminds me of my visits to London. It also helped me visualize my heart center as the “gap” where I can safely deposit my thoughts upon exhaling. I appreciated the reminder that there is no “getting it right”...only practice. Thanks 🙏🏻, Lyndi.

Mind in gap
I liked resting my mind in the gap after the out breath. Hard to ignore the in breath though. I found this engaging and relaxing before bed. Who doesn’t need to give there brain a rest...

Mind the Gap
I learned that my mind have the power to rest by the association of the breathing. I love it when I can actually feel my mind rest. I want to practice this one more often to rest my mind.

Mind the Gap
This was so relaxing, even though I didn't feel stressed so definitely going to try this when I'm stressed! I'm also going to try to concentrate less on inhaling, that was kind of difficult so there is place for getting better :)

Minding the Gap
I loved the idea of leaving thoughts at the gap between breaths. So interesting to focus in on that gap rather than the breaths, though it made the breaths more purposeful.

I found focus on the out breath gap very effective for stilling the mind.

Mind the Gap
Leaving the mind, with our thoughts, in the gaps after the out breath, helps us to focus and be mindful.

Resting in the gap
By allowing my awareness to rest in the gap between the exhale and inhale I find I can remain in the moment. Being in the moment I can fully relax I can let go of worry and anxiety.

Mind the gap
I felt my mind busy. I was aware if this but i think i missed the message. I still liked that i was aware of my wandering mind. It will have to become a habit. I will work on it.

raindrops on roses...
I woke to the sound of cracking bacon in a pan or so I thought as my mind cleared the sound changed to the thrumming of fingers on a wooden desk then finally I realized later that morning, after the shower had past, I went outside the sun warmed my face everything glistened I walked down the driveway to the hedge Collet’s American Beauties were in full bloom, adorned with translucent orbs of liquid

Leaving the mind behind to linger
Very interesting- leaving the mind behind at the gap at the end of the exhale to continue to experience it, while the body does what it needs to do to get there again. So the mind is jumping from one lingering present moment to the next, so it can focus and explore that gap between the breaths. Namaste

Poor session for bedtime
Long narrative gaps let me doze off, then the return of the narration startled me back awake several times! Perhaps a soundtrack would enhance this session?

This meditation helped relieve some tension I had in my head. I slipped a few times and my mind wandered, but I still enjoyed this meditation. Continuing to be a work in progress!!

I have found myself, during the day, trying to
concentrate on my breath. This is surprising as I automatically did this when I needed it. More so because I only meditate at night. Good for me.

I REALLY like this one. My gap was in my parents back yard in my hammock. I just kept going back there and pretending my out breath was a gentle wind (that was probably the lamest sentence I’ve ever typed). Mind the gap.

Great
This is a really calming and enjoyable meditation. I’ve done this one for the past two nights before bed and it has calmed me down and helped me get to bed. As a Brit, I find the title funny because of the tubes in London and ‘mind the gap’ is something they always say at the tubes.

Calming
I noticed how often I forgot that I needed to breathe, I caught myself realizing that I needed to inhale- this shows how calm and blank my mind was, something I’ve needed for a little while

There are places in our minds where we can go to rest. They can be hard to access. Our minds are experts at work. But patience and silence as a bit of guidance light the path to peace.

The Gap
While working on this meditation, I realized quite quickly just how busy and noisy my mind can be. It was difficult for me to not automatically fill the gap. I need to work at this and learn to enjoy the space at the end of the exhale as a time to relax. My mind really never stops shuffling and moving thoughts around. I will work on this each day until it becomes automatic. Very good meditation practice.

Gasping...
Maybe I got too relaxed on these exhales because s couple times I found myself gasping for a Breathe!! I would travel outward on my exhales on this big long bungee cord like thing... getting out to outer space then suddenly I felt myself being pulled/jerked backward by this loud noise. About the .3rd time this happened I realized it was me snoring/gasping for a breath! Guess I was riding those exhales too far but it seemed like fun at the time! And I feel fine now! ❤️☮️🍀

This meditation was focused on breathing. I haven’t been taking on Aura lately because I’ve been traveling. I think I lost a friend through Aura and it’s hard. We used to follow each other and now I don’t see her at all. Of course she lives back East and with the weather I don’t know. So as a result, this breathing meditation technique was very helpful. It helped me to relax. Thank you, Mindy. Have a nice day Everyone!😀

Breath
For the first time I realized that we are constantly relying on our breath. We may not always realize it, but we are always breathing. And it’s amazing how from the second we are born we now how to do it! No one teaches us, it’s just there.

Mind the gap
Focusing on resting on the gap between breaths. Nice change of pace from focusing on the in and out breaths. For some reason, this seems less stressful. I found it easier to stay focused on just resting there without my mind running away with me!

Staying with the gap!
My first pass at this was difficult - it was very hard to stay with the out breath and the gap and to leave my mind there! It was a good challenge - I hope to work on this technique again!

Mind the Gap...
Reminds me of riding the Tube in London. Such great memories. My gap is where my strength lies. When I can clear away the confusion, quiet the mind and let my soul breathe I am powerful beyond measure. I must remember to go to the Gap when the world seems to be too much. The Gap is my recharge. Trust the Gap. #Light&Love

I am enough
As I let my thoughts wander during this meditation, I realized that I am enough just the way I am, in this present moment. Not everyone will see my worth and not every opportunity will be for me, but that is okay. Because I am enough.

How to trust
It is simple to know that the ones who we deeply trust always has our back...
J
Jen
Simple is hard.
Even the simplest of actions can be hard to truly fully engage in when the mind is cluttered, distracted, or otherwise unable to make thought and action congruent. Sitting in silence with only one’s thoughts as company can be a scary thing, but keep calm. Keep your breathing steady, and don’t hold onto any one feeling or thought. You can weather this.

Gap & Margin
This practice on minding the gap reminded me of how we all need margin in our lives so that we can get adequate rest and be able to thrive, not just survive. The gap being likened to this margin in life. We are often so busy. But our bodies need time to just relax and focus on the moment, and remind ourselves that we do not need to do anything, that we can just be. We are human beings after all, not human doings.

Day Fifteen
This was a good exercise. Relaxing. Today is going to be kind of hectic, switching phone companies, getting stuff from Walmart, going to the bank and the post office and doing laundry. Paying all the bills. But I am excited. Not sure what was wrong with my grandma yesterday; but I hope she’s in a better mood today. Please let today be a good day. I want to be happy and not stressed.

I dont get it
I did this meditation twice, and I don't understand what we mean about leaving my mind there. I found myself breathing more shallow than usual when letting my breath move in and out without thought and sure enough yawned afterward to get some extra oxygen in again.
