This brief meditation invites the listener to check in with their mind and their mental energy. It's so easy to feel at the mercy of our mind, so this attitude of curiosity and care directed towards our mind can shift our experience and relationship to our mind.

Mind Check In
I felt that closing this meditation with gratitude was an excellent idea. It wrapped up the thought process even if what you felt from your mind was nervous or sad energy - regardless of mood, it’s still a blessing to think.

This ended up being beneficial after all because I truly took a look at how my mind was doing: frazzled, tired, fed up, resentful, anxious, pacing… all negatives. Once I checked-in and labeled those I was able to do the breathing and release most of them. Although the closing on the house is still out there, my mind is better about it and that’s wonderful.
My mind is tired.... I just need to rest and reset. Thank you for this moment of calm
I learned that I don’t check in with my mind nearly as often as I check in with my body and that leads to allowing anxiety and worry taking over. Great short check-in.
