We often move through our days on autopilot, caught up in tasks and forgetting to pause and notice the simple joys of life. By evening, we tend to remember difficult moments more easily than positive ones, which can affect our mood. A midday appreciation practice offers a gentle reset, helping us to notice and savour the small moments of goodness. This makes it easier to remember the positive at the end of the day. Over time, cultivating appreciation gives rise to contentment and joy, creating a more balanced and positive mindset. I encourage you to practice it daily, or at least a few times a week.
