We often turn away from our own struggles. This meditation is an invitation to listen in to what you truly feel and to respond with kindness. This practice gives us a new way to respond to whatever it is that we are feeling in this moment - sadness, loneliness, anxiety, or shame.

Happiness
I needed to hear someone remind me that it'll be ok. It really gave me some insight in how to handle a cherished loved one.

Tuning into my needs
I learned that sometimes it's okay to tune into my needs instead of ignoring them. Taking it easy sometimes makes me stronger.

Comforting Ourselves
This meditation was exactly what I needed to hear today. We sometimes get so caught up comforting and helping others that we neglect our own needs. Wonderful meditation.

Attention
I like the words "kind attention" as a way to remind myself not to overlook my needs or feelings.

Physical touch to show care
I really got a lot out of touching the part of my body holding all my stress. To let that piece of me know I am there to take care of it. Very nice.

Self care
This was a nice reminder to take care of the feelings that I often ignore. It helped me to stop being so hard on myself for a moment and to start showing myself a little more kindness.

Just a reminder
Placing a hand wherever I felt I needed loved or something was weighing heavily on me helped me to remember I'll be ok.

The unexpected
I learned that the mind and body respond to things even if you don't expect them to. I didn't think that this meditation would work for me as I am generally quite cynical about talking to the body but it worked surprisingly well.

Recognize
I learned that I don’t always have to fight these negative feelings and suppress them. It’s ok to feel them. Recognize them. And ask myself what do I need right now.

Accept Happiness
I learned today that I have the constant feeling that I need to be in a bad place and I should not be allowed to feel happiness or joy. There is no deserving reason for this and I can let myself be happy and receive love as I give it. My needs are to feel this love and it is around me I just need to allow myself to accept it.

Needs
Taking some time out to be more compassionate with myself and to speak kindly to myself during the meditation really helped get me ready for the tasks of the day ahead

Yourself
All I need to do is breathe and take care of my needs. Pay attention to the spot you are holding the most worry and take time to heal it.

I learned that we can recognize which parts of our body are holding the emotions we are feeling. Even a gentle touch of our own warm hand can help to soothe that. I also learned that in times where I need love or reassurance, I may already have it but am looking for it in a different place, which is the wrong place. I want to start learning who in my life is genuine with their words and their support for me.

Being kind to oneself.
I have learned or come to realize that I constantly forget to be kind to myself. The emotional weight I recognize and feel inside myself is coming from myself. I need to be a safe place for my own well-being and soul and I haven’t been for a very longtime.

Realization
I have learned that i have to stop letting my fears, thoughts and worries take control over my body and start fighting back my demons. I’ve also learned i have to start living for me and stop trying to live for individuals because my love within my self is what truly matters !!

To love yourself
I have been feeling anxious about myself and guilty about worrying and letting things get to me and become negative. I learned to centre myself and to love who I am and to reassure myself that it's ok and reconnect with my surroundings.

Feeling the numbness
I have a lot of work to do to let go of the stress and sadness I am feeling. I am 4 week’s post-op and have not gotten the results I was hoping to get. I need to keep at it.

Self love
It’s okay to have these emotions, or feeling alone sometimes. It felt so good to actually say kind words to myself, and physically touch of the areas I️ feel these emotions heavily. I’m working on bettering my relationship w myself and this mediation really helped me. Love yourself 🌹

:(
This wasn’t the overall experience I was looking for...i’m still stressed, touching a tense part of my body and telling it “I love you” is not relieving my pain. Telling me to breath in and out does not relieve me of my anxiety, i’m looking for an actual motivational speech something that will actually relieve me of my stress. Not this.

Inward and Outward
This was a helpful practice. It was tangible in focusing on areas in need- I have two right now that I think need me specifically. It also gave me some direction for visualizing giving to others. It was a good way to give within healthy boundaries. To send love and light without overextending myself or pulling myself off track.

Late thought
I’m so very tired. There is so very much. I need to let go of something, I just don’t know what. It is heavy. I am exhausted. In every aspect. Even the smallest things have become burdensome.

Kindness
A sense of acceptance is cultivated by this meditation. It doesn't change the emotion, only changed how I felt about the emotion. Letting it be as it and loving it for itself. In term loving yourself. This kindness showed to myself is a true gift.

Listening to my body
My body tells me everyday what is going on, what my need are, if I will listen. This was a great moment for me to listen to my body and by extension, myself. I put a lot of tension in my neck. I always thought I sent it to my stomach. Turns out, I am hiding things all over my body. It was great to tune in and listen to my body. Some things are harder to hear than others and harder still to see.

Noticing Physical Response to Emotion
I learned to notice the physical sensation emotion has on my body. I was able to notice the frustration and anxiety built up in my chest and stomach and acknowledge the emotions and somewhat soothe and attend to how my mind affected my physical being.
