Erasing...
I was standing there in front of a big, blank “old school” chalkboard. Suddenly I became aware of a anxious thought writing itself on this chalkboard of my mind like graffiti in an alley. With Dorothy’s lovely voice coming over the intercom, I saw myself simply pick up an “old school” eraser and wipe the board clean again... but then the another thought started writing itself.
However, I noticed that after seeing 2-3 others being erased, the writing stopped coming and it seemed like hours of “blankness” until that familiar piano tune played... and it was time for recess! Time to celebrate a lesson learned.
My takeaway - When graffiti (negative thoughts) show up in our minds, get rid of them quickly and eventually they may stop coming back.
