It’s ok to have rough mornings. 😊
I learned that’s it’s fine to wake up a little groggy and grumpy or tense occasionally. I can accept it. I don’t have to change it. I can close my eyes and give myself love and compassion and kindness. And in doing so, I can find the patience and perseverance to mindfully sit with difficult sensations. 😊

Speaking Out-loud !
I learned that it is important to speak out loud all the things we are grateful for. To CLAIM the happiness and joy we deserve and when we speak those words we also FEEL them. I always start my day now mediating and speaking out loud what I’m grateful for and I claim to the universe what I most desire. It is amazing how you feel afterwards once you hear out loud all those wonderful things :)

you need to thrive. we all already have what we need to thrive. we just need to remember that "thriving" can be done on what we are already grateful for and what we already have: the things, the people we love, our personal situations, are all just vehicles for us to thrive. I learned that I already have everything it is needed to leave a life of fulfillment, of love and compassion. This beautiful session was exactly what I needed to recenter myself. I enjoyed reciting the peaceful positive affirmations as well as the pause in between each affirmation. Interesting...
For some unknown reason I could not relate to this meditation this morning?! It actually made me think of all the projects I want/need/have to get done in the near future and the apparent lack of resources to get them done...!?! Certainly not the outcome of a session everyone else seems to love and that I typically relate to positively. But I guess only having that happen 2-3 times in the almost 3 years of listening to these sessions is still pretty darn good. I will let this pass like an unwanted thought and go enjoy my day anyway. After all, my attitude is too precious a treasure to surrender to one non-positive Thought. 🙏🏼🤔🍀
