During this session I didn’t really understand what I was supposed to be doing. Accepting self-love and kindness is not something I am used to, so I was a bit lost. Then, something clicked. While I was hearing words like “Am I allowed to feel happy?” or “Am I allowed to feel safe?” I suddenly realized that your own happiness is what you make it, and it’s not going to just come to you. It made me more optimistic of the future and frankly, curious to see how it goes.I think my attitude has change and it is definitely for the better. I am ecstatic that I understand more about how to start loving yourself, being patient with yourself, and giving yourself time to calm down.
