In any given moment, the cycle of receiving and giving is happening all around us. In this metta meditation, we give an offering of well-being to ourselves and others. Doing so, we set a wonderful tone for our day.
Settling into an upright position, I began to follow Kristy’s guidance and give myself offerings of well-being. Saying these beautiful words to myself, feelings of love began to sprout in my heart. Bringing to mind someone that I care for, I thought of my friend Lisa. As I said these beautiful words to her, I visualized her beautiful face smiling. Having increasingly feelings of love sprouting in my heart, I realize that I am the embodiment of love. As I reflect on this, I make the intention to do actions throughout my day that show kindness, compassion and love to myself and others.
