If the body is tense, the mind will probably be tense too, and vice versa - they are so intimately connected. So my relaxing one, the other will feel better too. Try this practice of loosening and relaxing the body and mind together.
I learned that you can’t force relaxation. Usually I am trying too hard to soften...to loosen. It was good to learn that simple awareness is a better approach. 10% is a realistic goal! Thank you for your gentle guidance.🙏
I learned that I can take small steps to loosen tight places in my body. I didn’t see a connection between tightness in my chest to my shoulder stiffness and this will be very helpful for me as I work on projects that involve sitting.
Loosening the body can have a positive effect on the mind. By that I mean loosening various parts of the body can result in the mind not being over active.
definitely felt good to do this first thing in the morning when my body was very stiff
would be useful to at the end if a long day at work just thinking about an area of the body that is sore and breathing in to it helps
