Listening…
Stillness has so many benefits. We can get in touch with the needs of our body. We can listen to the sounds going on around us. And, we can tap into our inner knowing or what I like to call presence. Presence is always waiting for us in the background of our life, ready at at a moments notice to guide us in our next step. It speaks to us in a quiet and soft voice. Because of this, we must recognize the chatter in our mind and allow it to float on by. Sitting in an upright position, I connected with my body and asked it what it needed right now. I did a couple of neck rolls with the intention of loosing any tension held here. Connecting with my breath, I visualized my mind like the vast sky and any chatter present as clouds floating on by. Clear of clutter, I began to hear this soft and quiet voice rise up within me. Listening, I know what is best for me. Listening, I know what my next step is on this journey called life! Namaste 🙏🏻❤️☮️
