Feeling tense? Over-focused? Mindfulness of sounds can help our attention soften and our minds relax. A great antidote to working on screens.

It's wondrous to be aware while not attached.
I learned that the rule of all yogis is self detachment from all parts of this illusion we call life and simply being aware of it. That way you live free. And also you detach your self from your ancestors karma. And become beyond choosing between good and bad. And at that moment the day you leave your vessel is the day you realize you never needed it to step up to the higher level, or dimension. Which will be dependent on your free well. So the sage will make it optional for you cause you are a spirit seeking a human experience not a human seeking a spiritual experience.

Still incredibly anxious
The long pauses made me think the audio had stopped or my phone fell asleep. I did not enjoy this one.

Letting go
Taking a moment or two to let go of what’s bothering you in the moment. Let go of what’s distracting you from doing your best work or from being your best person. Just let go. Recenter and refocus on the here and now.

Sounds
"Spacious awareness of the environment around us". I liked this phrase.

Silence isn’t truly silent.
That is all. If you listen there’s a pressure, a hum, a tinkling underlying the silence.

Listening to sounds
I learned that I and most others just don’t listen we’re taught to read and write but not taught to listen.

Sounds
A nice tip that I can use sounds, along with breathe, during the day to help me become focused. Clearing my mind is incredibly difficult for me and I am trying not to be mad at myself for not being more successful.

Sounds at the plant
I realize that really early in the morning there’s not much noise here. I could hear a few people. The road with a few cars and a few buzzing sounds. I feel centered

Sounds cause feelings and emotions... learning to become comfortable in the noise is a goal of mine.

I know I can always work on truly listening to the sounds going on around me. I find it soothing and it helps to prevent me from thinking. Thanks Lyndi.

Unraveling sickness
High stress moments don’t escape the body as easy as they come. Too much stress can make the body ill, so it is important to truly relax using mindfulness technics. Don’t be surprised if you have to cut out an hour or more for mediation.

Listening
My internal voice is loud today. If I keep myself busy with tasks or music or talking, I can lose track of it. But then as soon as a moment of quiet arises my mind drifts back, my ego talks, my self assuredness wanes. Just like this meditation taught, I need to be more aware of all sounds, even internal. I can hold onto thoughts that serve me. I can let go of others that do not. I may not ever be able to fully silence my internal critic or my ego, but I can listen to it and acknowledge when it’s running on overdrive.

I learned that I tend to listen to a sound with expectation. It is more difficult to simply let the sounds arrive.

I learned to stop, breath, and take in my surroundings. I still feel sad because of what I am going through, but I am not hurting as much I guess.
