Darkness is the enemy
The only true way to get out of the dark, is to step into the light. While my eyes were closed, I visualized all the darkness just fading away and the light taking control. Maybe I've been in the dark too long, but the breathing helps, especially when the voice says to imagine the stress from the dark, just fading away into nothing. It's really peaceful. I just hate that I've been so busy lately that I have missed out on a lot of meditation. I'm just trying to survive in a cruel and demanding world, and my meditation had been put on hold for a while. But, I hope that I can continue with this, because it really helps.

At first, there was no light to give
This meditation was very challenging at first. I'm in my first year of teaching and feeling very drained, so creating a light in my mind that spread through my body and then radiated out peace to world felt nearly impossible. But then, I looked at past moments with students where I could tell I had made a difference in their lives by bringing them understanding and joy. Immediately I was able to visual the light expanding more with each example I remembered. It's very possible that I focus too much on the negative moments than the positive ones that recharge me. I'm making a mental note to choose to focus more on the positives through my school days.

The visualization of a glow immediately made my thoughts wander to ET! I was able to pull back to center, but ET kept tugging at me. Then it hit me-sharing the light is what it is all about. Today I meditated before breakfast so I was a little hungry. I was also running late so I found it harder to not let my mind wander or get distracted. The visualization as the light as warmth within me was very helpful and I could feel it spread through my body. I wish there was more time for me to picture it spreading as it felt a little rushed. Growing Light
I learned that I can now meditate for 7 minutes! This was a very visual & powerful meditation for me. Seeing my light grow and the darkness around me diminish was pleasing at first, and then became a ‘game’ of getting rid of all the darkness by my growing & spreading my light everywhere, far and wide. I felt stronger as more and more darkness disappeared. I ‘came to’ feeling refreshed and optimistic even though it was a short night. I need to grow more often!

Calming the Center
My anxiety’s strongest manifestation is a gaping hole in my chest that can be a gaping maw or a tiny black hole. I like to visualize breathing clear, pure air and breathing out the smoke from the hole and picture it dissipating. Gray/black for depression, blue for sadness, red for anger. I just watch it fade into the clear, pure air.

Namaste- Admittedly, I woke up, feeling a little more peaceful than normal, this morning. Today’s meditation took me on a healing, and vibrant, journey. The visualized white light took away, in these ten minutes, my physical pain, all stress, and any fear to shift focus on a connection with the world and absolute joy. I’m smiling right now because isn’t that what matters? In this moment, I understood everything and that all fixations of worry, judgement, and doubt, aren’t that important. I digress. 🙇🏽‍♂️

I really enjoyed this meditation. Visualizing the light in my chest was easy and I felt this meditation flow naturally. This felt really nice to see the light in my chest and allow it to flow throughout my body and share it with others. I sometimes wonder if I talk about the new things I am experiencing, since starting to meditate, too much. I like sharing my new perspective and want to talk about daily things in a different way, which some in my life have been feel put off by. I am grateful to have the Aura community to reach out to and share with. Not concerned that is sounds like anything other than what I intend it to be, sharing.

Thickening...
So I am laying down feeling the flatness of the sheets I am on and he starts the Energy flowing in my chest... it’s a blue energy like the small flame of a burner on a stove. It lengthens & spreads sideways like a big cookie sheet and then starts to rise until it fills my whole chest. The over flow starts to spread to my arms & legs and then it starts to thicken & get more dense. A deepening blue, filling every crevice & pore of my body, building pressure as it thickens further. Having reached the full potential & limits of my outer skin - it can no longer contain this built up Energy and the outward glow bursts in all directions thru my now expanding body as a brilliant blue light. I feel it pulsating thru me and out of me with every breath like some kind of pump that will not stop or even slow down. This Energy that has chosen me to be it’s radiator in order to help it spread out into the world is grateful and silently, wordlessly communicates its gratitude to me as it continues to make a brighter, lighter more pleasant world because of its presence. This was both a fun and empowering exercise and I somehow feel it’s not over yet...! 💙✌🏼

Spreading kindness
I think I’ve always been know to be a kind person but after listening to this it made me understand how and why I can be so kind. This instantly made me feel refreshed and ready to take on the day which is exactly what I’m going to do.

Time really is relative. This three minute session seemed more like thirty seconds! I was enjoying myself and working on the visualization when it was ended. I could have easily taken thirty minutes!

Third Session “Half Awake”
I learned that doing this when you’re already feeling tired & kinda had it out with someone earlier, so you’re feeling all sorts of ways. Pissed being right at the top of the list & all the other varieties of anger, frustration, irritation, annoyance, that it sure is hard to focus. Also, exhaustion & hurt feelings can take a lot away from you. I need to close my eyes now. No more light for me, if I shan’t return come find me in the darkness.

Deserving of well being
I noticed that I often judge myself when entering meditation. What I have done yesterday and today, how happy or sad I should be based on my actions. I realized that this deprives me of so much authentic experience. Conjuring light in my heart was difficult for me at first because I felt as though I didn’t deserve to feel light. Yesterday I made some decisions that went against what I wanted for the day and I judged myself as having failed, and therefor not deserving of light. This is a hard belief to dissemble but I’m working on it. And I’m grateful for this meditation because it provided the perspective to see this in myself and offered guidance to practice a new belief instead. ❤️
