My positive experience involved reconnecting with a friend from my past. The moment resonated with happiness and joy that she brought to my life. I realized as I went over this moment in time that I truly did not appreciate this experience at that time like I should have. We really do many times just gloss over the positive and not really relish it like we should. Today when I have a positive moment I am going to truly enjoy the experience fully! I'm guilty of wallowing in the negative far too often. I need to rectify that.

I like to think of positivity like a muscle, the more you use it properly, the stronger it gets. (Of course the opposite is true too, do not use it enough or improperly, it will atrophy & turn into negativism) But I love the way she suggests to allow a positive outcome or feeling to sink into us like syrup on a hot cake! (man, I’m hungry now)! Just like you cannot separate the syrup from the cake after it’s been poured & allowed to sink in, once the positivity sinks into us it will chemically affect and/or alter all our cells in a positive way and we cannot get it out of us (why would you want to anyway?) Once we become saturated with it, we cannot help but ooze our positivity on anyone we come in contact with. Let’s hope it is as sticky as syrup and sticks to anyone and everyone it touches! 😉❤️✌🏼

I was celebrating a win tonight so I tapped my mood as great (which I rarely do) and bottomline I love this meditation. It’s all about savoring the moment when you have something good happen to you. Apparently many people just blow by these things and move on with the rest of their busy busy lives so this exercise is all about relishing and savoring.

I’m heading home. After a long week visiting family in Texas for my grandfathers funeral, I’m almost home. Tomorrow evening I’ll sleep in my own bed for the first time in weeks. I’ll see my cats, even the squirrelly one that won’t let me near her. I’ve started to take CBD oil for my anxiety and (what I suspect to be) depression. For the first time in year I feel like myself. I’m not stressing, I’m happy, and for some reason my mind isn’t running away with every bad thought. I’ve also finally come to terms with saying that I am an abuse victim. My sister emotionally abused me when I was 10. I’ve forgiven her almost a year ago. But what really hurts is that seeing her this past week, she is the same person that she was then. She tried, subtly, to exert the power she had over me then. It hurts. My grandmother ignored me most of the visit. I know that that sounds sad but I couldn’t be happier. I know she was probably just being passive aggressive, but I got exactly what I wanted: no contact. And when she tried to exert power over me at dinner, I stood my ground. And she backed down! I won! She’s losing her grip on me.

Made me think about what a privilege it is to be able to speak to your loved ones on the other side of the planet in real time. I realized that as I was reveling in a recent positive moment, a deep sense of gratitude also filled me, followed by a strong sense that I was doing exactly what I needed to be doing and was exactly where I needed to be. This mediation was very peaceful and a great practice for me to just soak in all positivity. Especially with it being the last Sunday of the year! Cherishing a memory of something positive that has happened to me. After reflecting on my year I can think of many positive things.. but it’s important when positive things happen to really take in the experience and let it soak in and cherish it. I don’t do it as much as I should. this was a great reminder for me, I really enjoyed mindful moment!

It was hard to choose just one positive moment, even from the last 24 hours. This meditation gives us a great idea to get us into a positive mindset. The narrator has us recall a positive experience we have had recently and replay that experience in our mind. I began recalling a positive experience I had recently. I was watching a heartfelt movie called Duke and eating a delicious dinner with my mom. Replaying the scene over and over in my mind gave my heart center a burst of warmth. Soaking up all of this positivity, sensations of calmness and peace washed over my body. Linger on your blessings
I can relate to only spending a few seconds appreciating positive moments of they happen. But I learned lingering on positive experiences and recalling them in detail actually does is the coach said produced some warmth and sitting around your heart I also found and brought to smile to my lips and encourage me to dwell less well less on the negative aspects of my day I was trying to spend more time vividly picturing my positive experiences and I have now learned better for my mind and body I have often been told to count my blessings, but never to linger on them and making up for it we’re making efforts to recall them in detail this is good advice that I will use in future I learned a lot from this meditation
