The act of letting go of a thought is actually quite easy. What's challenging is the repeated letting go of thoughts every time they arise which requires perseverance, patience and of course...practice. Let's begin!

Thinking over feeling
This mediation popped up in my feed when I should have been feeling rather than thinking during the 9/11 memorial at Tempe beach park tonight. It gave me just enough pause at the right moment to switch to feeling the comfort & support around me. As it turns out I needed this to quiet my thoughts about how the concept of a healing circle could help survivors of domestic & sexual violence before bed. If not my mind would have kept me up all night.

Raising thoughts
Quieting the mind to focus in on my breath was really hard this morning

Re-focusing on the breath
I appreciate the thought that "meditation is not so much about focusing on the breath as refocusing on the breath." What a gentle, non-judgmental guidance for us. A relief, really. Thanks.

Re-Focus
"Mindful meditation is not about focus but re-focus" - This allows me to better accept minds wandering and hence make it easier to bring the mind back to re-focus the breath

Wrong voice
I learned that I need a more professionally trained voice than this female on the mindful soul. Cannot relax to a voice that sounds like a valley girl.

Refocusing
I really appreciated that instead of making me feel like I was doing something "wrong" when my mind wondered, she made it seem like just another step

Hocus Focus!
Cosmic locust! Being the way I am, using this as a tool to bring me back to myself... will be fantastic.

Letting go
I relearned that mindfulness is often about refocusing out thoughts and energy rather than not having thoughts arise. I liked the grace offered in this meditation also. If you have 50 thoughts arise, it's 50 times you refocus.

Wow
I loved this I learned to come back to the now and thank my self for doing something for my self

Re-focusing.
The simple guidance to not dogmatically focus on breath, but to accept wandering thoughts as an opportunity to refocus on breath, as many times as needed, feels more loving and appreciative of any moment we take for self-care.

Letting Go of Thoughts 💭
3 minutes goes by very quickly when you are trying to focus on your breath. In this age of multitasking, even a retiree has difficulty with quieting the mind. However, I am blessed with extra time with which to extend my meditation practice....and I do mean PRACTICE.

Release.
Detaching myself from the constant chaos of thoughts, worries, and fears allowed my mind to realign with my body. I found some thoughts to be stickier than others, but I also found that each time I refocused I had the power to neutralize such thoughts and regain control of my mind.

My breath.
I learned that detaching my brain from my scrambled anxious thoughts and putting my soul in the now will calm me. Feeling myself breathe reminded me how amazing it is to not only be alive but to also have the beautiful chance to meditate and refresh my mind of its worries. Beautiful session.

Thoughts
We are not our 💭 They are passing clouds that form, evolve and dissipate against the clear blue sky 🌌 We observe their coming and going by being present and still. How? By observing our breathing in and breathing out.🙏🏿

Easy Breathing
I’m reminded that stress, anxiety and other negative thoughts and feelings can significantly alter the quality of the breath. I need to be more mindful of these changes and refocus; just stop, take a few moments to acknowledge the problem and then let it go. 😌

I learned that..
I learned that at any time I can toss my thoughts to the side and focus on my breath and my surrounds. I don't have to stay glued to my feelings and emotions.

Positive thinking
I can let go of my thoughts whenever I realize they’re just stressing me out. I can focus on my breathing and let all the negative thoughts go. “The quality of your life depends on the quality of your thoughts.”💭

Re-focus
It is important to re-focus whenever I lose my focus. Breathe to let go of stressful thoughts and focus on present

Distracted....ha!
I rarely meditate where I know I’ll be distracted. Tonight I did it on purpose, with TV and other sounds in the room. I focused on my breathing, really focused, and I was able to keep invading thoughts at bay. It was amazing how much more I could feel with each inspiration and expiration. 👏🏻👏🏻👍

Focus...
The breath is in present time. We are encouraged to take deep breaths to calm down. If we direct all of our attention to those breaths, our thoughts will no longer be on the event or thing that causes us to feel anxious, upset, disappointed, or frustrated. Focusing on the breath is a nice way to transition from one thought to another.

Focus on the breath
It really helped to think of meditation not as just focusing on the breath but re-focussing on the breath. If it happens 50 times that the mind wanders - re-focussing on the breath 50 times

Focus on Breath
I learned that it’s difficult to solely focus on Breath and that thoughts to creep in but to acknowledge that and return to focusing on Breath is really great and a good skill

Focusing on the now
At first I didn’t understand the “focusing on the now” until today. I was able to focus and breathe, either I understand or it’s still a bit early for me.

Breath is Now...
What a great meditative to your breathing is. I learned that when you’re breathing you were doing it in real time... No worries about the past or future... Only now...

It’s so easy to let my mind wander
But it’s good to know that I can bring my attention back to the now and my breathing each time

sunny Sunday 2-11-18
I had to run and hide on this meditation from my fur babies. They wanted to join me and play. I couldn’t calm them this time. So I had to close my door and shut them out which was hard. However, I was able to focus on my breathing better than I thought and not my thoughts. Thank you, Aura. Have a nice day Everyone!😀

Presence
This would be a good way to be in the present moment. I tend to wander in my thoughts too much to a point where it gets really negative. So this will be a good way to come back and refocus on the good.

Stick to the breath
When my mind starts to wander, and the anxiety and stress of the day hits me in the morning, I need to just stick to the breath. Feel the breathe heal my body and mind to help the anxiety and stress subside. Just stick to the breath.

A restless mind, that yearns to wander...
I was all over the place today, but I kept gently releasing the thoughts and coming back to the breath. Lots of looming deadlines, all good though as that means closure. Namaste

Because of the work that I do, my mind is constantly processing thoughts. Although I have a long way to go, breathing practices have helped me to enjoy a few stolen moments each day where I get to escape the barrage of thoughts and just be present with my breathe.

It’s been a while since I’ve done a guided meditation, but I’m glad I did one this morning. I woke up feeling a little anxious and my mind was all over the place, but this meditation helped me to focus on the present moment. I liked when it was said that mindfulness isn’t about focusing on the breath, but refocusing on the breath.

The helicopter of thoughts
Sometimes your mind flys around like an helicopter; buzzing shaking and constantly moving from place to place. While this is not something bad, it can be exhausting To fly around. This meditation helps you rest the helicopter of thoughts so you can feel much better about yourself.

Letting go of thoughts.
My mind was way too full of thoughts tonight. My fault, I was just talking on the phone and emailing. Makes a big difference.
