Prefect meditation before the hurricane makes its way towards my city. All I can do is prepare the best I can and that is it. Other than that I am ready.

Very powerful to bring to mind those that like and love you and feel that in your body. This left me with a sense of gratitude. Was feeling some general ugh earlier, but was able to be mindful of the feeling and begin to counteract the ugh by telling myself a different story. I choose to feel happy. I choose to be grateful for the beautiful weather. I choose to be relaxed and in the moment. ❤️✌🏻

Feeling safe
Before this meditation I was filled with anxiety and other feelings. Afterwards I felt so safe and calm like an angels wings were wrapped around me and I felt safe. Such a great feeling!!

Before doing this meditation, I was filled with anxiety about everything I have to do this week. I noticed myself about to shut down. Thankfully, this meditation helped. I was able to calm down and I'm being patient with myself. I'm not superwoman; if I don't complete everything on my list, that's okay. Doesn't mean I failed. I am okay just as I am.

When I am stressed, it is hard to think about the good things happening in my life realistically. Sometimes it is too hard to stop myself from thinking the worst about my life. Meditating consistently has taught me about my own needs in regards to practice, such as what I need and when. Anxious tears will form in my eyes sometimes and I’ll realize I hadn’t even noticed the edge I woke up with and carried into my day.

I feel that it is hard for me to relax. I hope with more meditation I will be able to lose the stress and worries of the day and find peace. Toward the end of the meditation I felt calm and all my muscles went soft. In the beginning my heart was racing and it was difficult to let my muscles loosen. I feel a lot better now.

While I was doing the dishes earlier I started having a panic attack so I crawled up into a really tight space made it as tight as I could and when I finally calmed down I listened to this I think it really helped me. I stopped hyperventilating and crying. I was and am safe.

I just need to feel like I am in a safe place for once. Somewhere I am not being judged for what I do or how I express my emotions, which are hard for me to explain sometimes. Why do I have to justify myself? Why can't I just release? Why can't I let out a few or more tears and just be okay? I don't expect you to understand how I am living through my life or what my circumstances are and all the other hows and the whys of my life. Neither do I want to make you understand because you won't. Everybody lives their life differently. Not one person experiences one thing the same exact way. Something that might not seem like a big deal to you might mean a lot to me, and vice versa.

Stepping out of my comfort zone.
The last few days I’ve stepped out of my comfort zone and to be honest, for most of this time, I didn’t feel anxious or worried. Then today, I started to over analyze that I haven’t been feeling anxious and started looking for the anxiety. Looking for something to worry about as the hum of worry that’s usually at the back of my mind had been silenced. As soon as I started looking, I found the anxiety again. This meditation was good in helping to remind me that it is ok to let go.

I have a rocky relationship with my mom, but know that my fiancé and his family and my friends and the people at the hospital and my students care for me and love me.
