I’ve been sooo stressed out lately and this meditation allowed me to just take a step back and appreciate my body. The layers of tissue; skin to muscle to bone to blood flow, it all makes up who we are. Becoming aware of my body makes me aware of the greatness that comes within.

Mediating in bed is just like meditating in my rack on deployment. There are moments of clarity and silence, then I realize I am climbing a mountain of sand, and then I realize I am asleep. Now I have to snap back I to the breathing and try not to fall asleep again. It was a meditation for deeper sleep though...so maybe it worked?
