I used to work with children and always made an effort to be calm and at ease around them. Now that I work in an office I realize I am not making the same effort for myself. There are only so many things we can control and need to take comfort in the things we can't.

Finding the Ground
Although short and very simple, I find these meditations help calm the anxious energy that tends to constantly bubble within me. I tend to forget to do these everyday because my mind is all over the place but when I do I feel so much more grounded and positive. Now to work towards doing these daily! Positive affirmations do work, it's just a matter of deciding to do them.
