Shining...
Walking along a trail through a lush area of green, I came upon an inviting pool of calm water. Seeing stairs leading down into the water, I decided to take a dip. Feeling the coolness of the water surround my body, I felt refreshed and alert. I found a seat and began looking around. Seeing a few small waterfalls in the distance while hearing leaves dancing with the slight breeze and the unique songs of birds fill the air, I became enthralled by the beauty surrounding me. More calm and centered, I allowed any thoughts on my to-do list to be like beads of water that slowly slid down my body and into the water. Becoming one with this calm pool of water, I felt the temperature slightly rise. Looking into this clear aqua-colored water, I saw a beautiful white light begin to illuminate and I noticed how good I was beginning to feel. Intrigued by this light, I looked around to see where this astonishing white glow was coming from. After looking for its source throughout the pool, I came to the conclusion that I was in fact, the source. Amazed at this, I continued to soak in all of this goodness that this white light provided. Shining, I am calm and centered. Shining, I am so grateful, so thankful, so happy. Thinking of all the ways I can continue to shine today, a big smile came over my face. Indeed, it is a great day to shine! Namaste 💫🙏🏻❤️☮️

Being the light
I learned that we can be the source of our own peace and relaxation. We can also be our own source of joy, and to others as well. When we are at peace with ourself, we can shine light to others. Like a lit candle, our flame can light others.
