I invite you to take time out of each day for a mindful break. These short meditations are like mini vacations to bring yourself back home to oneself and stop stress from building up throughout the day. I recommend using them several times a day. Discover the power of a pause.

Pause
I feel more centered and calm after my “pause” meditation. Focusing on my breathing helped me be in this moment and recognize when my mind started to wander about everyday things and plans. It helps me appreciate the simple act of being.

Just Pause
How quickly I forget all the specific practices when life throws me an unexpected curve during my day and I feel myself becoming overwhelmed, but I can always seem to remember to just stop for a few moments and breathe. I am glad that is the essence. Namaste

Lungs
This meditation made me very aware of how my lungs fill up and expand with every breath. I mean, I know that’s what happens but I never took the time to really feel what that meant. It made me appreciate all the vital organs of my body. Realizing how very delicate it is. How I seem to take it for granted. Much like many other important things in my life. I need to just appreciate all that is right and stop focusing on what’s not.

Posture appreciation

Just Pause Day 3
Felt good about this meditation especially after reading the article in the introductory Aura email about 20 tips to meditate. Counting my breath helped, staying in a feeling but not interfacing with it directly also helped. I am feeling sad but want to let go of that sadness. I must allow myself to feel it first.

Breath is the anchor
I likened the long pauses in this meditation to taking time during my day to stop, breathe, be aware and to settle down. I realize that just a few minutes, done multiple times during the day, isn’t very long and I really have no excuse not to do it. I don’t use the reminders because I don’t carry my phone with me. Great meditation! 🙏🌺

You’re more than your mind
3-d space without - 3D space within - and “you’re bigger than the two - and you’re bigger than your mind - “ I’m experiencing stress”. Instead of “I am stressed” - that’s the key message if Yoga and Gita. Starting to sink into my heart, after 40 years of mathematics, physics and philosophy.

Anchored in a storm
“The breathe is an anchor to our true self”. In times of trouble and in times of grace, to pause and observe is always good! Be amazed how you can strengthen yourself when things seem out of control. Experience complete peace and contentment when things are good. Whenever I need it, my breath is the starting point to the realization that I am okay,I am present, alive, and can accept and change the course of my day. It’s really that simple. Throw your anchor in the sea of life and just pause! Thank you for the reminder! Have an amazing day y’all! 🙏❤️

Break Time
Pausing in the middle of our day to take a few moments to focus our attention on our breath is like taking a mini vacation for our mind and spirit. Choosing a lying down position becoming aware of my breath, my body felt like it was floating on top of water. This sensation was very relaxing. I enjoyed this mini break. I selected the 7 minute version which it is only the 3 minute version. Maybe Aura is having a glitch today? Either way this will be a great session to revisit when I need a time out from my day.

Mindful Break
Majority of us wake up in the morning and begin a sprint to get as much done on their to-do list as possible. While it is important to be productive, we can burn ourselves out if we aren’t careful. In addition, life can completely pass us by if we aren’t careful. That is why it is good to balance a to-do list with a to-be list. In this meditation, Cindy introduces us to a task that is on our to-be list, a mindful break, where we pause to catch our breath and feel sensations in our body. This morning has been pretty eventful, as I’ve been going pretty much since I woke up. I did pause to listen to this meditation, but quickly remembered something else I wanted to get done this morning before it gets too hot out. While doing that task, I noticed myself having mindful movements. My mind was clear so I had great attention to detail. I was fully aware in these moments. I attribute my mindfulness to the mindful break I had earlier. After completing the task, I decided to listen to this meditation again. Settling in my breath, I felt at ease. With all of my senses open in my surroundings, I allowed the waves of experiences to come to me instead of trying to search for them. I noticed sensations occurring within my body. Gratitude flooded my heart. During these moments of my mindful break, I found that this was enough. Taking a few moments to just be throughout our day is crucial for our well-being. During those mindful breaks, we find that we aren’t happy because our life is good, we are happy because Life is good! In this way, we quickly realize that our happiness is not attached to any one thing! That means that happiness is a conscious choice we make each and every moment of every day! Take time for mindful breaks...your body, mind and spirit will thank you graciously for them. Namaste 🙏🏻❤️☮️
