Opening...
As I listened to this very profound meditation, I was reminded of a process I learned some time ago. “The 3 A’s”, (acknowledge, allow and accept). Acknowledging what is here. Allowing what is here and accepting what is here. While this process is easier said than done, especially when we find ourselves in moments of pain or discomfort, it is paramount that we don’t resist it. For what we resist, persists and what persists causes suffering.
Opening to this moment, I brought awareness to my physical body. Feeling an array of sensations from my feet all the way to my head, I practiced the 3 A’s. Surrendering to what was, I turned to my breath and practiced the 3 A’s. Relaxing in my breath, I brought awareness to the thoughts and feelings I was experiencing. Opening to this moment, I practiced the 3 A’s and surrendered to what was.
Opening to this moment, I listened to Cindy read a profound story illustrating the importance of the 3 A’s. Afterwards, she gave me some time to sit in silence. Opening to these moments, surrendering to what was, I invited presence into my experience and I couldn’t help but think how so very precious life is. Thank you, Cindy! Namaste 🙏🏻❤️☮️
