The breath serves as a tool in meditation to develop mindfulness and to lower our stress levels. When we focus on the breath we learn present moment awareness and let go of stress from the future and worries from the past. This short meditation is ideal for beginners but can be practiced by experienced practitioners. Breath Awareness is a fundamental tool in developing concentration on our path to meditation.
