Meditation was the cap on my morning motivation session. Doing yoga early enough to potentially sleep it off is actually very difficult to schedule.
Wanting to get through morning chores like scooping my cat’s litter box and, potentially, doing the dishes if there are any takes time away from showering and grooming, which then takes away from yoga.
I’m aware that I’m unemployed for now and that I technically have time, but I don’t want to use the whole day for motivation or decompression or just a random part of what I want my day to be.
I want my morning, afternoon, evening, and night to each have a routine even though I’m still trying to figure out what to populate my routines with because they all cost time.
I think that to accommodate my ultimate goals, I have to shower at night and then a short one in the morning. I’ve thought about this before, but now it’s necessary because the period between 05:00 and 09:00 flew by SO QUICKLY.
It’s making me think about where to place certain tasks so that I actually have room to get them accomplished and then when I’m employed again, it won’t be a shock to my system.
This is my Plan Ahead Challenge in essence, because it allows for a way more accommodating routine to slide a job into.
Reading books might have to be a weekend activity because I will not have anything to do on Shabbat, and moving showers to the evening allows for the transition between the day of rest and getting back to other activities.
I’m just going to have to give this more thought and figure it out.
